The Rogue witch (Emperor Belos x reader)

Chapter 3

Y/n P.O.V.

'Im surrounded by darkness, I can hear that familiar laughter. I look around but see nothing. As I look back forward  I see her. A large dark red Dragon. She's watching me as I walk closer. I reach out to touch her snout. As my fingers slid across the scales I close my eyes. I feel something change, like I'm stronger. As anger begins to coarse through me I open my eyes, and I see myself standing there. My eyes filled with fear as they look back at me. I look down and what I see brings fear to me. 'I'm the Dragon'

I quickly sit up gasping for air. My entire body aches as I do so but I don't care. As I sit in my bed trying to calm my breathing. 'It's just a dream you haven't turned in years. Just calm down... wait something's off?'

As I glance around the room I instantly start to panic. 'This isn't my room! Where the fuck am i?!' I quickly try to jump out of the bed when I feel something tug at my arm.

I look back and begin to panic even more when I see the chain around my wrist that is holding me to the bed. I try to tug at it again but I'm still really weak from using a lot of energy. 'Wait what happened. Why did I use so much energy?' I quickly try to search my brain when I hear the door a cross the room open. For the first time I can clearly see the room. The walls were a pale brown, with a few small paintings. Beside the bed there is a small table with a glass of water. In the corner of the room there is a desk with a few blank papers set neatly on it. As I'm looking at the room I hear a small feminine voice " Ah your awake, the Emperor would like to see you but first you must dress appropriately." I look down to see a small demon (I'm not sure if she is so just go with me on this) holding out a stack of clothes "um T-thank you? Um do you mind telling me where I am miss..." she looked up at me before speaking "My name Is Kikimora and you must be Y/n the Dragon of the isles. You are in the Emperors palace and if you don't hurry the Emperor will get impatient, so please do hurry miss." She then turned and hurried off out of the room.

As I look down I see the clothes she had handed me. A nice yet pretty plain gray dress/blouse with black pants. Under the clothes I find a box which held a nice pair of black flats.

Putting on all the clothes I look at myself in the mirror right beside the dresser across the room from the desk. 'What have I gotten myself into?' I think to myself. 'Maybe I should just change back into my other clothes and go like that.' Bat as I turn to grab them I notice that they're not there anymore. I look around to see if I could find them but after a few minutes I decide to give up.

As I turn to leave I see Kikimora now standing in the doorway " Are we ready miss, the Emperor awaits for your arrival." I go to step out of the room when something hits me "Hang on why would Emperor Belos want to see me? Why would he go out of his way to bring me here if all he wants to do is talk?" I ask impatiently, worried about what was to become. "He has very important business I presume." She said as she started walking her way towards the throne room. I have to run to catch up. "I get that but why with me?" When she doesn't answer I decide to just quit talking. We walk in silence a few minutes longer before stopping in front of to huge doors. 'Woah what needs doors that large' I think as two guards open them for us.

We entered a large dark room. As I looked up to the throne it's self dread filled me. Sitting on the throne was non other than Belos himself. 'Shit'

"Emperor Belos I have brought you
Y/n L/n like you have asked." Kikimora said bowing her head. "Thank you Kikimora,  my we have some privacy now." Belos said in his high authoritative voice.

Once Kikimora left the room Belos turned his attention on me. "Now Y/n do you now why you're here today?" He asked tilting his head.
"N-no Emperor Belos" I said nervously  as I watched him stand. He walked towards me as he spoke.
"I have decided to spare you. You see there is something about you... I can't put my finger on it." He was now behind me, a hand on my shoulder leaning down to about my level. "Would you happen to know what I'm talking of?"

"N-no... I mean... i don't know what you're talking about."
"Don't be scared now I won't harm you." He said in a reassuring voice.

"Also I suggest that you stay here for now. I would like to keep an eye on you for now."

As he spoke all the blood drained from my face. 'Wait what!'
