The Rogue witch (Emperor Belos x reader)

Chapter 4

I stared up at Belos in disbelief. 'I can't stay here! What if they find out about the curse!'

"Now I suggest you go and get ready, dinner will be served here shortly." Belos said nonchalantly.

"But I can't just stay here! Besides why me? There are so many other witches like me!" I quickly say. Belos paused for a second before answering " Because you are so... what's the word? Different from most wild witches. Most like to be known, except you. Why is it that you prefer to be left alone?"

I stopped confused " Why do you want to know?" I asked warily.

"Because I'm a curious man." He stated simply walking back to his throne. "Now like I said go and get ready.

                                                                      

A few minutes later

Walking inside my room and shutting the door I fall into my bed. 'How can I stay here? I can't, I have to get out of here and find a safer place'

I quickly sat up hearing a noise I look up to once more find someone new standing in the door way. This time instead of one small stack if clothes, she has an assortment of dress, shirts, pants, and a few cloaks. As she walks towards the bed where I sit she begins talking " we have to hurry and get you ready dinner will be ready at any moment." She said with a cheerful tone.

She then pulls me up by my arms and sets me on the ground. She turns around and starts pulling out clothes for me " We should put you in a nice pinkish purple dress I think that would fit you nicely." She said with a smile

"Umm how about I pick what I wear okay and you umm... you stand right out the door and wait." You said trying to be nice.

"Oh ok hurry up though Emperor Belos can get a bit impatient if you aren't there on time." She said in an annoyingly cheerful voice.

Once she has left I turn to look at the clothes. 'Do people really wear this crap?' I thought holding up a frilly pink dress.

I start to go through the clothes noticing that every single one was a damn dress 'shit' eventually I found one that I could actually stand.

As I stepped into the middle of the room I looked at the f/c dress on the edge of the bed. It was long enough to at least cover my knees.

Putting it on I look in the mirror. I am shocked by how nice I look. I twirl slowly taking it in when I hear the door open with a small gap. I turn and see Kikimora standing in the doorway.  "I am here to show you to the dining room mrs. "

"Uhmm o-okay" I say as she walks out of the room leaving me to follow quickly out the door. 'I wonder if I can actually convince Emperor Belos to let me go. I can't stay here."

Turning down a corridor I gasp at the sight of two huge doors that we are heading towards. As we approach it Kikimora stops in front of it and the guards scramble to open it for us.

As it opens I quickly get a peek inside. I see a surprisingly short table that could only hold about 10 people, but I don't see Belos anywhere. I let out a small sigh of relief as me and Kikimora walk towards a table. To the right of it there's a fire in a hearth merrily crackling away.

I reach the closest end of the table as a guard pulls out the chair for me. I smile politely as I sit. 'Thank goodness he's not here.' I think but not even five seconds later a door on the other side of the room bursts open as Emperor Belos walks in with Lilith trailing behind. "But Emperor we can't be sure-" Emperor Belos stops suddenly Lilith nearly bumping on to him. His eyes met mine as I try to shrink out of sight. "Lilith would you kindly leave us. You to kiki. He said in a smooth tone.

I watch as both lilith and Kikimora quickly leave the room. Once they're gone I look back over to Emperor Belos to find him sitting patiently watching me.

"So Y/n... what do you say?" He asked in the same smooth quiet voice. "Wha-what do you mean?" I asked slightly panicked. He chuckled quietly before saying "you know what I mean Y/n."

I stopped for a minute before answering "if I do what is there for me?" I questioned.

"Hmm... you won't have to worry about being tracked. And besides you get to stay here for as long as I need you to. All you need to do is help me with... some of my research." He said smoothly.

I finally looked him directly in the eye as realization hit me.

"I guess I don't have a choice do I?" I said quietly.

"No not really."he states

"Then... then I'll stay." You said already thinking of a plan.

A/n~ I am so sorry I haven't been publishing here lately. I've just been really busy not to mention One Act which we got Second for so yay!! I case you didn't know One Act is a competition in theater where you do a play that your teacher teaches you ( that sounds weird) but it has to be 40 minutes or less and set and strike each have to be seven minutes or less. So that was cool. Also we did Peter Pan And I  Played Hook.
