' As the light from the hall shone in the darkroom I started from my slumber. Sitting up in my bed I look to where the light leaks in from the hall. There in my doorway stands a tall figure smiling down towards me "Ughh... What do you want?" The figure simply laughs walking closer to me "Aww... What I can't check on my sickly little sister?" I frown at him narrowing my eyes, E/c looking into the green. "Go fuck yourself, Ronald," I say getting up. Suddenly Ronald's hand is gently pushing me back down. I glare up at him, watching as he shakes his head, soft long brown locks bouncing. "Nope!  You need your rest Y/n/n (your nickname)." He says chucking softly. At this point, the room begins to fade. 'Wait I don't want to go yet!' The background is almost completely gone now. "B-but I don't want to go... Not yet!" I say trying to cling to his hand. "No no. You need your sleep." He said smiling softly, sadly down at me as he began to fade. "And remember Y/n, I love you." His voice echoing as he completely fades away. "WAIT RONNY! I'm SORRY!"'

I shot up tangled in bedsheets and covered in a cold sweat. I glance around seeing my room in the castle instead of my childhood room. I let out a shaky sigh as I lean back. Tears drip down on my hand. I reach up feeling the wetness on my cheeks.

Taking a deep breath I get out of bed, knowing I won't be able to get back to sleep for a little while. Slowly I walk up to the mirror that hangs beside the wardrobe. Glancing at the reflection I take notice of the bags under my eyes from the nights with little to no sleep.

Ever since I awoke about a week ago I've been having horrible nightmares. Nightmares where Belos dies, where I lose control... Of my brother... . I feel as though Belos is getting suspicious that something is wrong, but he hasn't asked yet, which I'm grateful for.

Since I've awoken things seem to be awkward between us. He keeps disappearing, and when I do see him he's quieter than usual. Thinking of this I try to brush it off as him being tired or something, but things keep coming to mind.

'What if he hates me know that he knows? No. He wouldn't... Would he?'

Suddenly I feel as if the room is pressing in on me. Shaking my head of the thoughts I head out into the halls to take a walk around the castle.

Humming to myself I heading right I head down the hall.

After a few turns, I come up to a large door cracked open about an inch, light pouring out from the room on the other side.

Despite my instincts telling me otherwise I creep towards the large door and peek inside.

At first, I see nothing but tools and tubes going everywhere but after a moment my eyes land on a tall man with long ash-blond hair, fidgeting with a strange-looking door.

I sit watching him for a couple of moments until he suddenly freezes. I quickly try to duck back out of my room as I was almost completely inside, but it was too late. He calls out to me.

Hearing his voice my heart flutters. My head quickly shoots up drawing in every detail of the man before me, the kind light blue eyes, the long messy hair, and finally the long green scar-like thing that runs across his handsome face.

'Is this him? Is this the man that rules the boiling isles, the man that saved my life?'

Before I can stop myself his name comes rolling out of my mouth. " Belos?" Even though I whispered his name he still grins, amusement sketched on his face.

"You do know staring is rude?" He says smirking at me. Almost immediately I feel my face burning as I try and fail to look anywhere but him.

"S-so. This is the first time I've seen your face." I say defensively. My face burning even more if possible.

Belos suddenly laughs making me jump. "I'm sorry my dear, it's just been a while since I showed anyone my face except The Golden Gaurd." He says with a gentle yet sad smile.

Out of nowhere he reaches out gently holding my cheek, "Anyways why are you up so late?" He says noticing the bags under my eyes.

"I-it's nothing I just had a nightmare that's all." I quickly stutter out.

Belos's frown deepened. Looking up I sense the worry and concern in his soft blue eyes. "Do you mind telling me what of?"

"It's nothing really, i-I should be heading back to bed." I stuttered trying to turn, but as I reach for the door Belos grabs me.

"No, I don't think so. Do you mind following me?" He says more as a command than a question.

Anxiety clawing through me I follow him out of the room and down the hall.

After a few minutes of walking through the maze of halls, we come up to a new door that I've never seen before.

Belos silently pushes the door open and walks into the darkroom with me following nervously.

At first, I can't see anything, but as my eyes adjust I see that we were in a large bedroom. As Belos moves around I realize that this was his room. At that realization hits me, my nerves skyrocket.

As if he read my mind Belos turns to me. "If you'd like you may sleep in my bed tonight that way you won't feel trapped in your room." He says gently, looking into your E/c eyes.

See you hesitate he quickly speaks up. "I won't sleep with you if you don't want me to." "N-NO!" I say quickly making Belos jump. "I-i mean, no i-it's fine if you sleep with me, I-i might be able to sleep then." I stutter out looking at the floor, my face burning in embarrassment.

Belos smiles in amusement. Walking over to his large bed I pull the Comforter up and crawl under. After a few moments, I feel the bed tip lightly as Belos lays down. On instinct, I scoot over to him and curl into his side. As I drift to sleep a smile unconsciously drifts to my face. For the rest of the night, I didn't have a single nightmare.
