I've finally calmed myself down as Kikimora and I approached the doors to the dining hall.

As we approached the doors the guards stationed beside them pushed the heavy doors open for the both of us. As I reach the table and seat myself the doors opposite from me swing open causing me to jump.

Belos glided gracefully to the table followed by a guard giving him a report. As he took his place at the table he ushered him away, once fully seated he spoke to the guards "you are all dismissed for the day, I would like to dine in peace with mx. Y/n." They all filed out leaving us completely alone... With Kikimora who was still standing by the table. "You to Kikimora," Belos spoke sternly. "Oh... But sire-" "NOW" he spoke calmly but it seemed to echo around the room causing Kikimora to jump and scurry out the closing door.

Letting out an agitated sigh Belos reaches up and unclasps his mask before setting it down on the table.

He closes his eyes as he leans back relaxing in his chair, his hair slipping partially covering his face. He looked so tried and stressed. Suddenly as if feeling me studying him one of his eyes peeks open and a smirk graces his face.

I quickly look down in embarrassment at being caught. My face burns as I glance up to catch Belos chuckling at my flustered face. "Even on a rotten day, you have made me smile my dear." He says with a fond smile as he reaches forward to drink from his glass.

"Oh.... Umm, you're welcome? Is everything alright Belos you seem kinda frustrated when you walked in here?" I asked a little worried. It seems as though I've caught him off guard as he pauses for a moment looking at me with wide eyes before answering.

"It was nothing more than one of the generals not obeying orders and a couple of wild witches causing havoc in Bonesborough, luckily though it was all taken care of, granted it had ruined my day a bit... That was until I saw you, my love, ~" he said smirking as he leaned his head against his knuckles.

Suddenly I was blushing once again tonight ' how do I reply to that?' I think. Luckily as I opened my mouth to attempt a good comeback to that the doors burst open as the servers came in with our food. As one of them placed F/f in front of me I noticed Belos was watching me with a smirk.

As we finished our meal Belos began to stand "Would you like to come on a stroll with me through the palace with me my dear Y/n, I have no more duties tonight and wish to spend more time with you." He said in a charming voice. "Yeah, that sound quite nice actually."

As we walk from the dining hall Belos begins speaking "Y/n I've been meaning to ask you about something... Ever since the Dragon incident I've noticed you have not been sleeping very well, is something the matter my dear?"

I stopped in my tracks. 'I thought this might come up, I can't tell him, how would he react? But he has seen the dragon before... Maybe..'

Belos stopped turning to me when he noticed I was no longer with him. ”I... Uh..." I looked up at him taking note of the concern on his face, letting out a sigh I look down. ”I'd rather talk about it in private.." Belos just nodded before gently taking hold of my hand in his and began to lead me down a hall.

As he walked I couldn't help but stare, he looked so calm yet serious, I began to blush as images from earlier flashed into my mind 'NOPE NOT NOW!"

After a few minutes of walking down seemingly endless halls, Belos finally turns into a dark room before closing the door. "Uhh. Hat are we doing back in your room?" I said looking up at him. "You said that you'd rather talk about what was bothering you in private, and there is no room more private in this Castle than mine my dear." He said kinda smugly.
