Chapter 8

Emperor Belos P.O.V.  a Hour before

"Emperor Belos the guards report seeing Y/n running through the halls looking distressed!" Kikimora said entering the throne room. I felt my heart shatter at the news. " What do you mean looking distressed." I said standing up slowly, getting almost angry. " She looked afraid, and we found this note addressed to you my liege." Kikimora said bowing as she produced the letter holding it out to Belos.

Stepping forward I pick up the letter carefully. Taking a deep breath I open it.

Dear Belos

I'm sorry to leave, but I cannot stay any longer. When we first met you asked me why I'd rather not be known. To tell you the truth, for as long as I can remember I've been cursed to turn to  horrible dragon. Although I have not turned for a while I feel it rising once more. I must leave now

Reading the letter twice I crush it in my hand. "Kiki please watch over the castle until I come back. I must take care of something." Kikimora looking up with wide eyes stuttered out " B-but sir-!" But I didn't hear her finish as I had already left the room.

Time Skip~

I have finally located Y/n but the scene before me makes my heart stop. The first thing I see  is Y/n's staff laying forgotten on the ground while a beautiful dragon lays injured on the ground.

3rd person P.O.V. 

The beast stood on it's hind legs raising it's huge front paw to make the finale strike, but before it could lash downwards it's paw began glowing red. From the shadows emerged a very pissed Belos. His eyes Glowing bright blue he stepped forward flicking his wrist the beast went flying backwards skidding on the ground.

The beast let out a loud screech as it began to stand up again, but was to slow as Belos rose is staff in the air. As a red beam of light erupted from the end of his staff the creature fell for the last time.

Turning from the beast his eyes glancing to where once laid a dragon but now was a girl. Walking closer belos caught sight of something that made his heart stop. there lodged in her stomach was a bloody piece of broken antler.

dropping down next to her Belos picked her up, grabing her staff along the way the transported the both of them back to the castle rushing down the hall towards a spare room. pushing the door open he laid her down on the bed. by then a coven guard has already alerted Kikimora. 

entering the room she let out a shocked gasp seeing her precious Emperor coverd in dirt an blood and an injured Y/n laying unconsicious on the bed. " W-What happened!?" "Kiki alert the healing coven that we need their best healer immediately." Belos commanded standing so that he towered over her." y-Yes sire ." she stuttered out as she ran from the room. Watching the door for a moment Belos turned looking down at the witch that had caught his attention. ' Why would she keep this from everyone?'

Y/n's P.O.V.

Groaning I open my eyes feeling a sharp pain in my stomach. looking up I notice I'm in a new room. I can't remember how I got here or what I'm doing here but when I try to sit up all the way the pain in my stomach grows to much for me and I fall back with a cry of pain. Gasping for a second something flashes through my brain.' Belos was there. what if I hurt him?' my thoughts were interupted when the door opened. holding my breath I watch as a man I've never seen walks in holding a bag. 

" I see that you've awoken at last that's good news." he says almost cheerfully. Setting his bag down he turns back. " This won't take long I'm just here to preform the last healing session then I'll be out of your hair okay. Oh my names Mike by the way." he says quickly examining my expersion. "Uhm sorry to interupt, but do you know how I got here?" I asked " Oh well the Emperor had found you injured in the forest. you were almost killed by a large strange creature, but before it could the Emperor arrived taking it out and saving you. He brought you back here and you've been out since. Three days to be exact." he states calmly. "THREE DAYS!?" I nearly scream going to jump to my feet but was stopped by the healer" What happened to Belos is he okay I have to see him!" I say struggling to get out of the healers grasp. "If you'ed just lay still for a few seconds to let me heal you you can." Mike says Slightly agitated now.

Letting out an annoyed sigh I flop back down only to immediately regret doing so as pain rushed to my stomach. Placing his hands just over the wound the healer closes his eyes and is hands start to glow a soft blue. A strange warmth over comes me and i feel myself involintarely relax. I close my eyes for what feels like a second but when I open them once more the room is dark and quiet. pulling up my shirt I see that there is no longer a bandage, not even a scar.

lowering my shirt I hop out of bed. forgetting to grab shoes I run out of the room looking every where trying to find him. turning down a random corridor I run in to someone. 

hearing a familiar grunt I look up meeting the gaze of the one I was so desperately looking for. "    y/n" Belos says almost sadly helping my off the ground. Before he can say any thing else though I hug him. Feeling him stiffen from the hug I whisper "Thank you. " He relaxes under my touch, hugging back " Your welcome My love."

A/N~ As promised I got this chapter out as fast as I could. several times I nearly stopped because the same freaking spider kept crawling on my arm scaring the shit out of me before I finally killed it. But I hope you enjoyed this chapter and remember a poor spider had to die for this.
