CHAPTER 2
"Pass your paper to Miss Fahra, and Fahra, pakisunod sa akin pag nasa iyo na lahat," the teacher instructed. I nodded at him and went outside.
"Sissy, pansin mo, titig na titig sayo si sir," Denise pointed out, and she was right. "Kaya nga eh, first time nilang makakita ng maganda," I replied, bursting into laughter. Hahahahaha.
"Kapal mo, hahaha, pasa mo na nga 'yan dun," Denise said, laughing. I just nodded and went to the teacher's office.
*Knock, knock* "Come in," the teacher said. Nice, just two knocks. "Opo, Sir, eto na po, yung papers," I said as I handed them to him. As I approached the table, he locked the door.
"Opo, Sir, lalabas na po ako," I said, but as I got closer, he moved towards me. I kept backing away until I had nowhere else to go. "A-ahhh, s-sir, may kailangan pa po ba kayo?" I asked. He locked me in because he approached me and then he kissed me. It was my first time experiencing that, and I was shocked, so I pushed him away and ran out.
"Why are you running?" Denise asked me. "Ah, k-kasi ano, baka iwan mo ako," I lied. The truth was, I ran to get away from that office.
"Ano, tara na, andun na yung sundo ko," she said, and we went to their car. Before I went home, I hung out at their house. We're neighbors, after all.
"Nagugutom ako, Denise, kuha kang meryenda dun," I said, feeling at home.
"Yay, ang kapal mo, makapag-utos. Hintayin mo at ikukuha kita, senyora. Sarap itapon," she teased. "Woi, narinig ko 'yun!" I shouted at her. "Syempre, may tenga ka, t*ng*," she replied. "Gag*ng 'to, minura pa ako," I said, laughing.
After having a snack, I said goodbye and went home. When I arrived, there was no one there. I went to the kitchen and found a note.
"Nak, sorry di na ko nakapagpaalam sayo ng personal. May emergency sa company, I'm going to the US. I'll stay there for 2 months, so ikaw muna dyan sa bahay. Si Manong Kanor, nag-leave for 3 months, pati si Ate Lota. Kaya mo naman mag-isa, be independent. I left your 2 months' salary on your cabinet. Be safe, always lock the windows and doors. I love you.
