Chapter 11
After a weeks I woke up in the morning feeling a twisting sensation in my stomach, so I hurriedly ran to the bathroom.

I kept on vomiting but nothing was coming out. My head was also throbbing. I always feel nauseous. It's frustrating, what kind of spoiled food did I eat that caused this? I decided to skip school today and go for a check-up.

I can't cure myself, and I'm alone at home, unsure of what medicine to take.I decided to write an excuse letter to avoid being absent.

(To whom it may concern,

I am Samantha Fhara Cruz, and I apologize for my absence in class. I am not feeling well and would like to consult a doctor to check my condition.

I deeply appreciate your understanding.

Samantha Fhara Cruz
With respect )

After writing it, I texted Denise to pass it to our teacher. Denise passed the letter and told me to get well soon.

I took a quick shower and dressed up. I texted Mang Kanor to drive me to the hospital.

"Urghhh I can't take it anymore, I don't like what I'm feeling right now."At the hospital,

"Good morning, doc. I just want to have a consultation. I feel so dizzy, I feel like vomiting, and I'm always lightheaded. I'd like to ask what medicine I can take."

"Have you had your period? When was your last period?" The doctor asked me.

"Um, sorry doc but , I don't remember when my last period is?," I replied.

"Let's go to the OB-GYN to  find out why you're feeling this way," the doctor said. So, we went to the OB-GYN, and I underwent an ultrasound.

I felt like I was pregnant with the way they were treating me, hahahaha lol but ohhh lord wag po Muna sana Hindi pa Ako handa huhu."Congratulations, you're going to be a mom. You are 2 weeks pregnant," the doctor said.

What? This must be a mistake, I misheard.
'" Doc, baka nag kakamali lang po kayo. Sorry doc pero siguro kaka overthink ko ito pwede pong paki ulit po Ang sinabi nyo?"

"You heard me loud and clear. You are going to be a mom. As advice, take care of yourself, always eat healthy foods for your baby," the doctor said with a smile.

So, I thanked the doctor and went home. I can't move on, I'm pregnant? The father is sir. This is insane, what did I get myself into?

I want to have an abortion, but I don't want to commit a sin. The baby isn't even out yet, but I'm already crying.

I can't do this, my mom will scold me. What should I do? Think, Fahra. You've gotten yourself into a huge problem. When I arrived home, I went straight to my room and lay down.

During the trip, I realized I won't abort this baby. I will raise this baby; if sir won't take responsibility, I will.

I want this baby to see the world I live in.
Si mama binigyan nya ko ng pag kakataon na masilayan Ang Mundo, so I must do the same. This is a blessing, not a sin."Baby, I promise you, while you're inside, I will take care of you. I will love you wholeheartedly," I said as I caressed my stomach.

The next day, I mustered the courage to tell Denise about what happened, how it happened, and who the father might be. At first, I wanted to tell her that I had a one-night stand when I got drunk at the bar, but I decided to tell her sooner that it might be Sir Kael, the father. I told her that I hoped only the two of us would know for now.

"Denise, I need to tell you something," I started nervously.

"What is it, Fahra? You look serious," Denise replied, concerned.

"I... I think I might be pregnant," I said softly, almost whispering.

Denise's eyes widened in shock. "Oh my gosh, Fahra! How? When? Who's the father?" she asked, bombarding me with questions.

"I'm not entirely sure, but it might be Sir Kael," I confessed, my voice trembling.

Denise sat down, trying to process the information. "Wow, Fahra, this is... unexpected. Have you seen a doctor? What are you going to do?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.

"I went to the hospital yesterday, and they confirmed it. I'm pregnant," I explained, tears welling up in my eyes.

Denise hugged me tightly. "Fahra, everything will be okay. We'll figure this out together. You're not alone in this," she reassured me.

"Thank you, Denise. I don't know what I'd do without you," I said, grateful for her support.

We spent the rest of the day talking about my options and what steps I should take next. Denise promised to be there for me every step of the way, and for that, I was truly grateful.

After sharing the news of her pregnancy with Denise, medyo naluwagan si Fahra dahil may kasama siyang mapagkakatiwalaan. As they sat together, Fahra mustered the courage to express her desire na panatilihing lihim ang impormasyong ito sa kanilang dalawa muna.

"Denise, I... I don't want to tell anyone else about this. Just you," sabi ni Fahra, her voice tinged with uncertainty.

Denise nodded understandingly. "I get it, Fahra. This is a big deal, and it's your decision when and how to share it. I'll keep your secret. You can count on me," she replied, placing a reassuring hand on Fahra's shoulder.

"Thank you, Denise. I just need some time to figure things out," sabi ni Fahra, grateful for her friend's support.

For the rest of the day, Fahra and Denise talked about what lies ahead. Denise listened, offered advice, and comforted Fahra, reaffirming their friendship and the bond that would help them navigate this unexpected journey together.
