Chapter 12

Hinata woke up the next morning in horrendous pain. He saw he was still in the entry way of the house, but his father was no where in sight. He looked at the living room clock and noticed it was 9 a.m. welp there is no point in going to school now. Hinata thought to himself dragging himself off the floor. He hissed in pain and started walking to the bathroom. I doubt anyone is worried so I'm just going to stay off the phone. He thought to himself, stripping down, and getting into the shower.

Little did he know that his phone was blowing up from worried team mates.

5:30 a.m

Nishi: Hey has anyone seen Hinata? He is normally here by now.

Ennoshita: No, I haven't but it is strange.

Daichi: He probably is running late. Don't worry so much right now.

Suga: Hinata everyone is worried. Your not at practice and everyone has been texting you. Please let us know your ok.

Hinata stepped out of the shower. His back was stinging and his body was about to collapse. He walked to his room and threw on some sweatpants and a hoodie. He limped downstairs and started to clean up the house. He knew if he stayed home and did nothing he would get beaten. He started by cleaning up the beer bottles and trash. He then started scrubbing the floors where bloodstains were. He then moved to the kitchen cleaning dishes, wiping down the counters, sweeping, and mopping. His eyes caught sight of some cereal. Should I try eating? It has been 2 days.

Hinata sighed knowing the voices were right. He walked back up to his room and layed down on his bed. It was after school hours and he knew the team would be going to practice. The orange haired boy decided to get some sleep before his father came home.

As Hinata was sleeping his phone started blowing up. His team was still trying to get ahold of him.

Kageyama P.O.V

I can't take it anymore. I walked up to Daichi and waited for him to stop talking to coach.

After he was done he turned to me. "Hey Kageyama. What do you need?"

"I'm going to check on Hinata. I'm worried something bad has happened, he normally answers his phone and he hasn't all day." I said with a stern expression. Daichi just nodded his head and walked to coach. I took that as my que to leave.

Time skip

I arrived at Hinata's house and it looked dead inside. I didn't see him laying on the road when I walked up here, so thats a good sign. I knocked on the door and no one answered. I decided to just walk in because I was too worried. "I walked into the house and saw no one. "Hmmmmmm, if he wasn't on the road he should be here." I walked up the stairs and saw a room with a tiny giant poster on the door.

I knocked on the door and opened it. I saw Hinata laying in bed fast asleep. "Thats odd. With how much his phone was going off he should have woken up," I said aloud. I decided to wake him up and ask him. I tapped his shoulder and he jerked away from me. He went to the corner of the bed and shielded himself. "Hey! Hey its just me! Its Kageyama," I said tapping my chest.

He slowly uncurled himself and looked at me. "Kageyama?" I nodded my head and he gasped. "You can't be here!!" He said, his panic expression sent me into a panic.

"Why is that?" I asked wondering if he'll tell me the truth.

"Becau-" He was cut off by the door slamming. He shoved me into the closest and shut the door. I was too in shock to say anything.

"Hey fag! Get your ass down here!" I gaped, there was know way that was his father.
