Chapter 23

It has been a month since Hinata started living with Kageyama. The team was over nearly every single day to check up on him. Hinata wishes Kageyama could stay all day everyday with him, but Kageyama doesn't have that choice. Hinata has relapsed a couple times, every time everyone was at school and couldn't call him. He was scared they would get mad at him, but they were all patient with him. Even Tsuki was very patient.

Hinata was sitting at home waiting for everyone to get home when he got a phone call. He was always scared when he got a call, scared that it was his father. He picked it up and looked at the caller I.D. It was an unknown number. Hinata answered the call.

Hinata: "Hello?"

Unknown: "Hey Hinata! It's Haru, I was the cop that was with Akari a month ago."

Hinata: "Oh! Hi?"

Haru: "yes! We have your father in custody right now."

Hinata: "oh......"

Haru: "Yeah....." Haru sighed "we are going to get a court date set up to try and get your father in prison." Hinata only grunted in understanding, not trusting his voice. "Can Akari and I come over and discuss it?" Hinata hummed.

Hinata: "when do you wanna come over."

Haru: "how about tomorrow. We know you're living with your boyfriend and you want him there."

Hinata: sounds good."

They continued to talk back and forth for a while until Haru had to go on a call and hung up.

When he hung up Hinata heard the door open and the team walk in. Hinata walked downstairs and tried to find one of his comfort people (Kageyama, Suga, Ashai, or Yama.) The first one he saw was Yama, he walked over and hugged him. "Hey Hina! How are you feeling?" Yama asked excitedly.

"The cops called. They found my father and have him in custody." The entire team cheered.

"Yeah! Get that bastard in Jail!" Tanaka yelled.

"Do you have a court date set up yet?" Tsuki asks to be the voice of reason.

"Not yet. I need to talk to Tobio about that," no one mentioned the first name basis, but they were all internally screaming.

"Well he's still at the school talking to some teachers. Have you eaten anything today?" Suga asked in a motherly voice. Hinata shrugged. "Alright let's go get something." Suga grabs Hinata's hand and walks to the kitchen.

Hinata grabbed some fruit and walked back out. "Suga is getting started on supper" He said, taking a seat next to Noya. Everyone hummed in acknowledgement and turned on a movie.

Timeskip 1 hour later

Kageyama P.O.V

I walked through the door of my house only to be greeted with a tiny oranged hair boy running towards me. He threw himself into my arms and squeezed me tight. I don't care how sore I am from practice I missed my little tangerine.

"Hey guys! Coaches are coming over to check up on everything." I receive a couple of "oks" in return.

"Akari and Haru are coming over tomorrow night to talk about some stuff," Hinata said into my shirt. I nodded and kissed his head.

"Alright. Let's go grab some food." I said, leading him over to the kitchen and grabbing us both food.

We sat down in the living with the rest of the team and started eating.
