The hallways were already busy with traffic. Freya had received a message from her master. The Jedi Council had requested to speak with her. What about, she didn't know. She was nervous, was it a good thing or a bad thing? Approaching the door, she took a deep breath and opened the door. She made her way to the middle of the room, she bowed to the masters and looked at Master Yoda and Master Windu, "You wanted to see me, masters?" she asked politely

"Relax, young one. In trouble, you are not," Master Yoda told her. Freya nodded, her nerves slightly fading away.

"In fact, we have some great news," Master Windu added, leaning forward in his chair. Freya smiled, her gaze moving towards her master who had a huge grin on his face, "Master Mundi has spoke of you highly. You're doing extremely well with your training. We felt that you are ready for your first solo assignment,"

Freya's mouth dropped to the floor, 'Did he just say what I think he did?' she asked herself, looking at her master and the smile he wore, she realised that Mace Windu did indeed just say what she thought, "Thank you, masters," she bowed to them, hardly able to contain her excitement, "I will not fail you,"

"Go to Naboo, you will. Escort Senator Amidala to Coruscant. In danger she may be," Master Yoda explained. Senator Amidala? As in Padme? She was a Senator now? Freya hadn't seen her in ten years, just like she hadn't seen Anakin. She tried not to let the separation upset her but it affected her more than she allowed herself to show. From time to time, she wondered what kind of trouble he'd been getting himself into. That made her smile. They will see each other again. She was sure of it. That was the only thing that made the separation somewhat bearable.

"May the force be with you, my young apprentice," Master Mundi told her, his smile still on his face, Freya bowed before turning and walking out of the circular room. A breath she didn't know she was holding burst out of her the second the door closed.

After taking another deep breath, she started towards the hanger to collect her starfighter and her droid. It was an R2 unit. Like the small blue and white one she'd met on Tatooine but hers was purple, white with and orange, her starfighter was also purple and orange.

The doors to the hanger whooshed open as she pressed the buttons on the keypad. Strolling along until she found her fighter with her droid sitting patiently beside it, "Hello, K7," a string of unhappy beeps emitted from the small droid immediately after the young Jedi finished speaking Freya groaned, "Yes, I know your name is R2-K7 but that's a mouthful," the droid beeped again in response, "What? Every time?" Freya climbed into the cockpit of her fighter as her droid was lifted into it. With a few flips and clicks, she was underway. Headed for her first solo assignment. She was excited, very excited but now she had to contain that excitement. She had been given an important task to protect Senator Amidala on her journey to Coruscant. She remembered how beautiful Naboo was but it was also a reminder of the loss of a friend, "Setting a course to Naboo," Freya muttered, mostly to herself as she inputted the coordinates in the computer. When she was sure she had put the right coordinates, she pushed the down the controls and entered hyperspace. Millions of stars that turned into streaks against the dark canvas of infinite space as the ship sped through the blueish tunnel. Soon she'd arrive at Naboo where her assignment would officially begin. She took the time she had to calm herself and prepare for the mission. She began thinking about how and when someone could attack the Senator, maybe that way she could formulate a plan that may keep her out of harm's way.

The deep blue cave came to an end as she reached her destination. The familiar planet of Naboo sat in front of her, wearing some of the most beautiful colours she had ever seen. The moss green elegantly complemented the artic blue complexion of the planet. This time there wasn't a ship lurking over the planet like ten years ago.
