After mutliple failed attempts, becuase when she flickered she went straight through our hands, we were able to get her to the medbay and on a bed. We couldn't monitor her heart rate or anything due to the flickering. Occasionally she would completely disapear for a few seconds giving everybody a heart attack, including me.
Banner's tried to run multiple test to see what was causing the flickering or how she was disapearing, but to no avail.
I sat there in a chair next to her bed, for all hours, day and night, wanting to be there for her when she regained consciousness. She looked so pale and helpless, but I knew how strong she was and I was hoping she was still fighting. Even if she wasn't I would fight for her, I would do anything. She was like my princess and I was her knight in shining armor, well more like spider in spandex to be honest. I felt that we were connected, I guess the kiss did that. The kiss was more like a pact between us that we were in this together, whatever happened.
Natasha came up behind me and placed a hand on my shoulder. "Hey Parker. How's our little Birdie holding up?"
"Birdie?"
"Oh sorry its a long story. It's a nickname Steve gave Y/N when she was little. So how is she?"
"Um...I guess she's ok. She's hasn't been flickering, so I guess that's a good thing."
"Can't Banner start running some tests on her now?" "Well, I asked the same thing, but he said that if he attempted to run any test, it might trigger Y/N's flickering or whatever it is again. And because we don't know what is causing it, he thinks she might disapear forever."
"Ok...I know she will be so thankful and appreciative that you have stayed her the whole time, if she wake...I mean...when she wakes up. You need to eat and get some sleep though. She would want that too." she said as she tossled my messy hair and quietly slipped out of the room, leaving me alone again with Y/N.
My eyebrows shot up when Natasha said 'if' first and not 'when'. I hadn't considered the possibility of her not waking up. She had to wake up! She had to...I needed her. Ever since I met her...well the friendly neighborhood Spider Man had someone to protect the neighborhood for...even if that person had the whole Avengers squad at her beckoning call. Ever since Natasha brought it up, I realized how tired and hungry I was, but I wasn't about to leave Y/N's side. So ingoring my hunger I fell asleep.

I don't know how long I slept but when I woke up it was the middle of the night. I woke up panting and sweating; I had a horrid dream. I looked at the bed where Y/N should have been, but she wasn't there. I rubbed my eyes making sure I wasn't still in a dream. Nope...she was gone?!
Ok Peter...its totally cool...you know she probably is just flickering again...it all gonna be ok. Twenty minutes went by and Y/N hadn't reappeared. Now I was panicing. I sent a text to Nat and Steve.
