~Deals with the Devil~
I hated this broom.
I hated that I was too stubborn to accept the one Lorenzo gave me.
What I hated most was that it cost us the match.
After Harry caught the snitch for the Gryffindor team, I landed on the field without a word and stormed for the locker rooms, my robes soaked from the downpouring rain. The rest of my teammates were close on my tail as I threw open the locker room door and turned around waiting for them.
Apollo came in next, his hair stuck to his face and face red from the cold. His face projected his disappointment as he sidled up beside me. Even he knew that it was the worst game I had ever played.
My head stung from being slammed into so many times and was quickly turning into a migraine. "Alright everyone" Roger muttered as he entered into the room. "I know that wasn't our best game but we can't beat ourselves up about it. We are still the best team in this school and we still have a chance at winning the Cup if Gryffindor loses to Hufflepuff."
I wasn't in the mood for his pep talks. I knew that he was trying to make everyone come back into practice with a good attitude but this loss rested solely on my shoulders. I drowned the rest of his speech out and waited for him to dismiss us.
"Alright get out of here. I'll see you Monday night for practice" Roger said walking over to his locker to change.
Taking that as my cue, I walked over to my own locker and pulled out my clothes before going to the girl's changing room and peeling of my soaked robes. My entire body was shivering from the cold since winter was just around the corner. No one in the changing room spoke, which I was glad for.
After I finished throwing on my blue Ravenclaw baggy sweater, some mom jeans, and my docs, I ran my fingers through my soaked hair and sighed in annoyance. That would not be drying anytime soon.
A moment passed before I stepped out of the changing room into the now dry air and ran face first into a short brunette girl. "Good game today, Alvarado"
I raised my eyebrows at Pansy Parkinson standing in front of me. If there was one person in this world that I hated as much as Lorenzo, it was her. And it was for the same reason. "Is there something you need? Or are you just here to make everyone's life more miserable?" I asked walking past her.
She let out an annoyed humph and stormed up beside me. "I'm here to tell you something that you should listen to."
"And what is that?"
"Lorenzo doesn't like you."
This made me laugh out loud. "If you think that's something I don't know then you are as dumb as everyone thinks you are."
She grabbed my arm and stopped me from walking. "I think we both know that I'm not dumb Quinn. I saw you two in the library two weeks ago"
I immediately stiffened at her words. From what I remembered, it was just us two there. But I could've been too distracted to really notice. "What's your point? I don't know what you saw but I can assure you it's not what you think"
