Hadiya sat on the living room couch, watching a video about diseases you get from having sex and teen pregnancy. After her father had hit her she went up to her room and sheltered herself before her mother talked to her. They had agreed on letting her watch T.V but her phone had been taken away and her privilege to "walk the dog" wasn't an option anymore. Stevenson did not trust his daughter and he was putting his foot down. From now on everyday after she'd come home from school and get her homework done she has to sit in the living room and watch videos about sexually transmitted diseases and how they're contracted.

She couldn't go out of the house for any reason unless it was for or with her parents. Stevenson only wants to protect his daughter and if that means keeping her locked up in the house then so be it. He had already told himself that if she even thought about sneaking out she'll get a whooping. Hadiya wish she'd been smarter. Tysheem needs her right now more than ever and being that her phone wasn't in her possession made things hard. She just knows he's freaking out right now.

Rolling her eyes she got up when she heard the microwave going off, "popcorn is the least I could have while watching this bullsh—" the door being knocked on made her sigh and look up at the ceiling. Her parents were up in their room doing god knows what.

"Somebody's at the door" she screamed, getting comfortable on the leather couch. Popping a popcorn in her mouth she sucked her teeth when the person knocked again just harder this time. "All I want is a break" she chuckled, taking a deep breath.

"That's all I want!" Going over to the door Hadiya opened it and when she seen who it was she almost forgot she had opened the door. Tysheem stood in a grey jumpsuit with slides while standing at her front door. She closed her eyes as his scent hit her nose.

"So you home?" She opened her mouth to speak but he stopped her. "You really think this the right time to be avoiding a nigga" he laughed.

"What are you doing here" she looked back to make sure her parents weren't coming to the door. Tysheem scrunched up his face and nodded his head.

"Ight I get it this shit lame as fuck" he laughed one more time and then turned around to leave but she stopped him, making sure to close the door behind her. When it came down to having sense she lacked that whenever he was involved. Seeing him made her not care about her dad's authority.

"You don't understand after I left your house I got in trouble" she spoke with her head down so he wouldn't see her busted lip.

"What that mean don't you got a phone man" he stressed, extending his hands out from his pockets.

"H-He took it" she had finally looked up hearing how irritated he sounded, which was beginning to scare her. She hated being put into a heated situation it was uncomfortable. Not only did it make her uncomfortable Hadiya didn't want him thinking that she wasn't here for him. Tysheem took a step back and blinked a few times, examining her face. He cocked his head to the side before stepping around her and making his way towards the door. She realized what he was doing and tried stopping him.

"No Tysheem it's okay I f-fell that's all it was" she tried explaining but Tysheem wasn't a dummy and he knew better. "No" she stood in front of him, blocking him from the door.

"This man put his hands on you and you want me to sit back and let that shit slide, is you fucking serious Hadiya" he squinted his eyes at her.

"He's my father!" She yelled. At the end of the day he was her father and she wasn't going to let her boyfriend try and beat on him. It was unacceptable. If he went into her house and put his hands on her father Tysheem could be charged with trespassing and assault. She didn't want that for him his future would be messed up and the thought of that made her sick to her stomach.

"He fucking hit you look at your lip!" It was like a screaming match as the two began to go back and forth, forgetting their space. The front door opened and Stevenson could've sworn he seen red once his eyes landed on Tysheem.

"I'm not going to tell your ass again" Stevenson pointed his finger at Tysheem, walking over to him but Hadiya put her hand out, making a space between them. "Stay the hell away from my daughter" chelly raced in front of Stevenson and tried to calm him down.

"I'm not gon do shit my nigga you got me fucked up if you think I'm not gon say nothing to your wack, washed up ass" Tysheem tried getting pass Hadiya who was doing everything In her power to stop them from going back and forth.

"I'm going to rip you in half" the grown man said to the younger boy. Ty pulled up his sagging pants.

"Do it I'll have somebody put you in a fucking body bag" Hadiya's heart dropped to the floor hearing that. She knew what type of family he had and his statement scared the crap out of her. "All it take is one phone call what you tryna do" Hadiya went to thinking before something went off in her head. She quickened up her breathing and began to make herself get worked up to a point that would cause a seizure.

"No no no" eventually it worked. Chelly let go of her husband and grabbed her daughter who almost hit the floor.

"Shit" Tysheem grabbed his phone from out of his pockets and dialed the police station so they could get help. "Diya, Diya!" He said frightened as her mother turned her over to her side. He put his hands over his head, watching the foam that was beginning to come out of her mouth he could see her eyes rolling to the back of her head.
