Hadiya walked into the party that her best friend threw for her seventeenth birthday with a big smile on her face showing all her teeth making a few people cringe. Hadiya looked passed all that and roughly hugged Patience she really loved and appreciated her. "Who are all these people" Hadiya said over the loud music feeling a little awkward. She had been to a few get togethers but nothing really this big it was a lot of people there just for her. Her cheeks warmed up as she rubbed on her arm up and down.
"People from school I don't even know all of them but you know they like to party" sharing a laugh together Patience walked her to the kitchen and poured her some of the punch that had liquor in it. Whoever had made it did a good job you could barely taste the liquor, which made that good for Hadiya since it was her first time drinking.
Walking over to the crowd of people she observed everyone as they danced and talked amongst each other. That was the type of person Hadiya was she rarely did anything just stayed out the way and observed. It was something she had picked up on whenever she was alone with other people around. She felt eyes on her so she looked up to see Terrell eyeing her hard as hell. He motioned for her to come with his index finger causing her to roll her eyes. It was pretty dark in there the only thing that made them see where the led lights that laid around the spacious house. "Do you miss me" Hadiya fought the urge to tell him a lie but she did miss Terrell and she didn't understand why. He treated her so bad and rarely showed that he cared but somehow she still missed him. She nodded her head and watched as he bent down she allowed him to kiss her on the lips. Feeling good on the inside she grabbed his hand and walked to the middle of the house. Jhené Aiko- on the way played as she turned around and grabbed his waist keeping him in place. Hadiya felt a pang in her heart as she looked away from him and at the window. She could feel a lump in her throat as she fought the urge to cry. She didn't want to jump to conclusions but it was no coincidence her and Princess had the same necklace. No way. Terrell who felt the mood change touched her thigh.

"Hadiya, I'm so-" before he could get the word out she grabbed the door handle and got out the car he yelled her name as she walked away from the truck. Hadiya got away from him as fast as possible he was beginning to take a toll on her mental and disturb her peace, which meant he was too close. So she figured it was time to back away for real this time.
