Chapter 8: "I dont want to see that again."

A Few Days Later.....Nov. 10th
Sunshine
"How did yall do on the test?" Caroline ask me and Faith.

  "I did pretty good." Faith answeres. "Me too." I say quietly. I'm quite surprised with myself.

At home.....

I just got finished studying. Ugh, I need coffee. I walk out of my apartment and make my way to the elevator.

   I hit the button when someone comes up behind me, "Hey." I turn around to see Ollie. Ugh...I really dont have time to deal with him. I nod my head. I still don't feel comfortable talking to him.

    "Where are you heading to?" "I was going to get some coffee." I say quietly.

    "Funny. So was I." The elevator doors open and we both get inside, "How about this? Let me apologize for what I did at the party a few months ago. I'll buy you coffee." Is he serious? Well I guess I should give him a second chance. And free coffee doesnt sound bad.

   I nod my head and we go down to the cafe. I get my coffee and Ollie pays for it. We sit down at a little table next to an old couple.

    "You drink your coffee the same way Sin does." "I know." I say. I almost choke relizeing I shouldnt have said that.

    "You know?" I wipe my mouth, "Uh yeah....a few weeks ago...uhh, Faith, Alex, Sin, and me went to get coffee down here." I say quietly.

  "Really? I didnt know that. Is that when Sin kissed you?" I clear my throught. How does he know about that?

   "Uh....how do you know about that?" Ollie laughs, "I overheard Sin and Alex talking about it in the kitchen." Oh crap, "Sin also said you were a pretty good kisser." Um....I feel my cheeks start to heat up. Dumb hormones. Ollie laughs.

   Ollie takes a sip of his coffee, "You know, you and Sin are more alike than you probably think." "How?" "You'll figure it out one day." What's that supposed to mean? Ring ring ring!

   "S*it, that's Sin. I need to go." I nod. "It was nice talking to you." "You too." I say. As Ollie walks out of the cafe he answers the phone. Well, it appears Ollie isnt all that bad. But Sin thinks I'm a good kisser? He was talking about it...

2 Days Later.....

Friday. Thank god. I put on my yellow and white skinny ripped jean's with my white Lettuce Trim ling sleeve shirt and white jacket. I slip on my white converse and do my hair. We have a literature test today. I hope I pass it.

Lunch.....

Fina-freaking-ly. Me and Faith walked down the street to the little lunch diner. We decided since today we had our last test before exams, that we would go eat some lunch somewhere besides school.

    My grades are actually surprisingly well. I have A's in every class except my psychology class which I have a B in. Faith's grades are really good. She has A's and B's in her classes. Except she has a C in history. I offered to study with her but she said that she was fine. She apparently is supposed to have a B in that class but she didn't turn in a big assignment she was supposed to so it dropped her grade down.

   My highest grade is my music class though. Of course.

   We walk into the diner and we instantly see Alex standing with Jake by the high chairs. "Alex!" Faith yells. Alex sees us instantly and puts on a bright smile then waves at us. Cuties. Jake blushes when we walk over and I notice he's looking straight at me. Please say he doesn't like me. Boys. I frown slightly.

  "Hey, we were just about to come looking for you two. We have a meeting for the talent show we need to go to after lunch." Jake says.

  "Sure." Faith smiles.
