Chapter 24: "Its positive"

"I'm going to go use the restroom." Uncle Nial excuses himself from the table. We all stand up exept Ollie, Gibson, and Hailey who stay at the table. Gib mouths to me before I leave, "Help me." I laugh and walk off with Sin.

I think Andrea dragged Alex and Faith to the kitchen. I guess that talk is happening. Erik and Evan are somewhere now, but I'm not sure where.

I decided to go and greet Enne ( Pronounced 'An') at the door. I hadn't seen her since June I don't think.

Enne sees me and smiles, "Rae!" She greets exited as she jumps on me and hugs me. She stops and looks over at Sin.

Her eyes widen and she whispers to me, "Since when did you get with a rockstar?" Sin and I laugh.

My mom smiles sweetly, "Gib! Come here! I want you to meet someone." And the matchmaking has begun. Even when Gib actually has a girlfriend...that's my mom for you lady's and gentlemen.

Hailey, and Uncle Nial are the only ones that have never met Cheyenne- minus the boys and Evangeline.

Gibson stumbles out of the dining room, tripping over his boots. He let's out an annoyed breath, "God, I shouldn't have brung Hai-" he stops mid-sentence when he sees Cheyenne. Cheyenne smiles sweetly at Gibson. Oh.

"Gibson, this is our neighbors daughter, Cheyenne. And Cheyenne, this is my nephew Gibson." We look at Gibson who is completely stopped in thought.

Gibson
Holy s*it. This girl is fine. Her light brown-ish-blond hair contrast so well with her hazel eyes.

"Gib! Hello?" I hear Aunt Jules. I clear my throught and shake the weird thoughts out of my head.

I hold out my hand, "H-hi..." I geeet nervously. The girl laughs a little but shakes my hand. Hm...

Sunshine
OoooOOooo, mama be match makin'. I tug on Sins shirt and stand on my tippy toes up to his ear. He still leans down a little so I can whisper to him, "Let's leave these two." Sin furrows his eyebrows but then smirks.

I take him by the hand and lead him up the stairs. I take Sin back to my old room.

Sin laughs, "You already trying to get me in your room?" I chuckle, shaking my head with a smile, and shut the door.

I sit down on my bed as Sin walks around my room, looking at some of the pictures I left on my dressers. He chuckles as he picks up a picture. I furrow my eyebrows and stand up to see what hes looking at. "You wore glasses?" Oh god...

I rub my neck embarrassed, "Um, yeah..." "I did too, although you look way more nerdy than I did." "Hey!" I say playfully.

Sin laughs as he sets down a picture of me wearing glasses when I was 10 at my birthday party. All of a sudden, there is a very loud thud outside and the power goes out. I scream and Sin laughs.

"Calm down, the lights just went out." I close my eyes and back myself up to a wall. I don't like the dark. Really...really do not like the dark. Call me a baby, but it's always been a problem, "Sunshine, where did you go?" I hear Sin ask.

I swallow nervously, "O-over here." "Are you ok?" "No..." I keep my eyes closed.

"You're not afraid of the dark are you?" "Maybe...." I mumble, keeping my eyes closed.

Sin
Cute. I follow Sunshines heavy breathing. I finally find her against a wall. I stick my hands on her hips and step closer to her.

"You're ok....." I assure her quietly. I hear Sunshine let out a worried breath. I move my hands over to her hands and pin them up against the wall above her head before kissing her, hopefully distracting her thoughts from the dark.
