The Next Morning.....
Sunshine
I yawn and stretch as I get out of bed. Finally a Saturday at home. The last Saturday before I go on winter break.

I let out a long breath as I look out my window. It's a nice, chilly looking day outside. Hm, I wonder what they have around here?

I walk over to my dresser and grab skinny ripped jean's and a black top. I slip on my black converse, grab my black jacket, brush my hair, and walk out the door. It's currently 6:46a.m so Faith most definitly isn't awake, knowing that girl.

I peek into Faith's room before leaving and see her-oh. Her and Alex cuddled up. I guess he snuck over last night.

I close Faith's door and walk out to the front door and leave. This is almost the quietest I've ever heard this hallway. Dang, these people like their sleep.

As I'm walking to the elevator, I start to hear footsteps behind me. Don't. Turn. Around. Just keep walking. Who the heck is awake at this time of morning? The sun is just now about to come up. Yup, I'm going up to the roof.

I hit the button on the elevator and hear the footsteps stop. I jump and flip around when I feel someone tap my shoulder, "Ollie! What the heck!"

Ollie yawns, "Sorry." He says In a "I dont care" voice. Jesus. The elevator doors open and we get in, "Where are you off to?" "The roof..." I answer quietly.

Ollie furrows his eyebrows, "Sorry Sunny but I'm too tired. I can't hear that good at the moment." I can't help but chuckle at him.

"I said, I'm going up to the roof." I repeat in a normal voice.

Ollie flips his hair, "Why the h*ll are you going up to the roof?" "I don't know, it seems peacful." Ollie yawns again.

I look down at his feet and see that he's wearing zombie stompies house shoes. I furrow my eyebrows funny and Ollie notices.

Ollie looks down at his feet then rolls his eyes, "S*it, forgot about those." I laugh.

"Where are you going to?" I ask curiously.

Ollie chuckles, "Just the top floor, there's some red head I met at the cafe earlier today and she wants to-" "Please do not finish that sentence." I stop him, disgusted. I shouldn't have asked. Ollie laughs.

We stop at Ollie's floor and he gets out, "See you later Sunny." The only person that calls me Sunny is my grandma. I don't really like it but I let my grandma says it because she likes it.

Before the elevator doors close, I see Ollie slip off his slippers. I chuckle to myself when the doors shut. Dumba*s.

A few seconds later, the elevator doors open at the floor where theres stairs to the roof. I get out and carefully walk up the stairs.

I quietly open the door to the roof when I reach the top and step out. You can barely see the Sun coming up. It looks beautiful up here.

"I spent 10,000 hours, and 10,000 more-" I stop walking when I hear the sound of a voice, followed by a guitar sound.

Someone is playing a guitar out here. But where in the world is it coming from?

I scope around the roof until my eyes land on a tall stranger sitting on the edge of the roof, his legs hanging off the edge. Well that's not dangerous at all...

I step closer until I can hear the person's voice, "Oh, if that's what it takes to learn that sweet heart of yours." For a guy hanging off the side of the building, he has a really good voice. Very soft and soothing. I could listen to it for hours. Except I don't know who's playing- who am I kidding. I can recognize that voice anywhere but now. But why is he out here?
