Sunshine.....
We step into their apartment and I instantly see Ollie right next to Sarah from school. I look down at the ground as I enter the party, hoping not to be noticed. I hate partys.

Faith and I find a seet on the couch next to Alex and Erik. I look down at the ground as Faith and Alex start talking to each other. I don't feel good being here...

20 Minutes Later.....
Sin
I've mainly hung out in our kitchen so I wouldn't be noticed by anybody. What is wrong with me today? I can't stop drinking water and I dont know why but...my hands are shaky and I feel really sweaty. I must be coming down with a cold or something. Plus it doesn't help that I'm beating myself up about Sunshine.

I walk out into the living room so I can turn into the hallway to find the bathroom. Theres around 20 people here but I only see one. I slowly stop as I see Sunshine sitting on the edge of the couch looking right down at the ground anxiously. Is she ok? God... my head.

I shake my head and make my way to the bathroom. I need some air. "Look who's here lossers!" S*it, Sarah's here. Just great.

I quickly walk into the bathroom and shut the door. I let out a breath as I walk to the mirror and look at myself intently. I feel like I'm going to pass out. I turn the faucet knobs on cold and splash my face with water. This is going to be a long night.

Sunshine
Why is she here? "Have y'all seen Sin?" She asks in her country girl slang. I roll my eyes and stand up to walk out of the room. I think I saw a balcony earlier, it's at the end of the hallway. I head towards the hallway and start to walk down it.

Sin
I open the door a few seconds later and walk out, but I stop as I catch something in the corner of my eye. Someone's walking down to the balcony. Why the f*ck are they leaving the party?

I slowly and quietly follow the person and stand behind the slide doors of the balcony. Is that...Sunshine? Ring ring ring! Looks like her phone is going off, I should probably not listen to this. Who am I kidding, of course I'm one of the nosey people you'll ever meet.

"Hi mom....how are you?" She says in her sweet normal quiet voice. "Yeah...I'm good."

Sunshine
"Where are you right now?" "Oh, Faith wanted me to go to our neighbors party tonight."

My mom hesitates, "Are you having fun?"

I let out a breath, "Uh..yeah. I dont feel like I belong here though. Everyone's so....I dont even know."

My mom sighs, "Well, do you like anybody?"

I smile a little, "I haven't really talked to many people. But I met two people named Caroline and Jake at school, they seem nice. Then theres our neighbors. They seem pretty nice as well. But one of them just makes me feel weird."

My mom laughs, "Weird how?" "I dont know...he said something yesterday and I...it just got to me."

My mom gasps, "What did he say to you?" I let out a breath, "Nothing. But I know he's not the cold hearted idiot he acts to be. I think he's really sweet."

My mom laughs, "Its good you made some friends. Have you seen Covey?" "Yeah, he comes and goes." "Good."

I hear my mom let out a worried breath, "Are you...sure your ok?"

I look out across the city, "I'm just adjusting....I guess. I want dad here mom. I want him here with me. It's not fair." I feel myself trip over my words.
