"Jeo—Lee Y/N!" She smiled while waving her hand in the air. I slowly lift my hand up my shoulder level and lowkey waved back. I still have no idea who that is but she seems very familiar to me. She approached us, running with her hands on the strap of her backpack.
"You know her?" Wonwoo asked. I creased my brows as I recall the moment I saw her. I know her face but I forgot her name, and I know I've met her before.
"Oh! She's with—"
Wonwoo was about to speak but he was cut of by the girl. She was wearing a friendly expression on her face as she walked near us. "You don't remember me? I clearly remember you!" She said with an energetic tone matching her appearance. Someone popped up beside her with a cone of ice cream in his hands. In a slow pace, with a fast beating heart, I looked over the space beside the girl and saw Soonyoung.
"I'm Ah-yeong! Can't you remember? I'm Hoshi's—"
"Boyfriend... I'm her boyfriend" Soonyoung repeated the word while staring at my eyes.
People say that you can always catch someone if they're lying when you look into their eyes. The eyes of a person serves as a book to read and memorize. And his eyes isn't even twitching or moving. His face remained as it is, without any emotions plastered on his face. He refuse to break the eye contact but then I initiated something that I didn't knew that would regret later on.
"Wanna join us?" I gulped the lump of pain on my throat as I gave them a fake smile. Ah-yeong didn't hesitated to seat down right next to me, she patted the empty seat beside her and Soonyoung surprisingly obeyed her and took the space between Ahyeong and Wonwoo.
"Are you about this?" Wonwoo leaned to my ear and whispered, I place my hand over his to assure him that everything will be fine. Even though I know that this would result to a probable chaos. I took a deep breath before looking back at the two.
I opened the basket and took out the extra food we have, my peripheral vision can see them flirting and giggling right next to me. Wonwoo was about to speak up but I held him by his knees.
"Here, have some sandwich. Wonwoo prepared that by the way" I offered them the sandwiches and they gladly accepted it. Ah-yeong got hers while Soonyoung reluctantly extended his hand to grab the sandwich from my hand, I moved my hand a little for him to reach it. He sighed before he receive the food, but my heart skipped a beat as our hands swiftly brushed against each other but I immediately shrug it off and returned to my original state of being.
"So... How's you and—" Soonyoung asked forcing a smile. I looked at Wonwoo before answering him.
"I'm his girlfriend— It's actually our first day together. Right Wonwoo?" I wrapped my arm around Wonwoo's and he wasn't able to answer because he's still processing the situation.
