"Y-you live here?" I stuttered while looking at the person who just opened the gates. I wasn't expecting of all people, it was her all along.

"I know you! You're Wonwoo right? Yeah I live here, and- what are you doing here?" She said while looking at the box I'm holding.

"I'm here for delivery?" I said but in a questioning manner.

"Is that the pastries I ordered? Sweet!" She helped me carry the boxes on my hand and invited me inside their house.

She opened the door for me while I wait in their front porch, "Come in! My mother just went out for a stroll but she'll be back in a moment."

My eyes roamed around their humble home. She puts the boxes down on the coffee table, "Wonwoo-yah! Here— thank you! I've been craving cupcakes since yesterday" she smiled and gave me the exact amount of payment.

"Thank you Ahyeong" I thanked her. She sat down on their couch and patted the empty seat beside her. She offered me a glass of water, I didn't accepted it but she insists.

"Ahyeong-ah, have you—"

"The letters?" Ahyeong interrupts. I looked at her with my eyes widened up in shock.

"About the letters—"

"Don't worry, I didn't read them all. They were so many to read and besides, those are not for me so I don't want to interfere with what ever business you have— Do you wanna see it?" She said. I sat down on the opposite side of the couch but she stood up and went to one of the rooms, Ahyeong went back to the living room with a cardboard box on her hands.

She opened it and a bunch of letters welcomed my sight. Every envelope was organized by the date I sent them. I remembered how I used to write it in a stationary set. It feels like they were just sent yesterday. She really took good care of it.

"It might look weird but I made sure to keep all the dirt away from them because I wanted to meet the person behind these letters to give it back to him." She said as she go through the envelope and pulled one out.

"This was the only letter I opened. I actually have no plans on opening any of them but this one got be hell curious"

She gave me the pastel pink envelope with a picture attached on it. It was our first picture together when we both went to Everland. That day was the most special day I ever experience through out my childhood, she was right there beside me holding the stuff toy that I won for a prize while my arm was spread across her shoulder. We strike the same peace sign pose as we smiled at my father's camera.

My eyes were slowly tearing up as I continue to stare down at the small picture. She was so sweet and pretty back then, and nothing really changed up until now. It's just that... I wasn't able to secure my place inside her heart.
