The Tales of the Soldiers of HATE Entry #2: Kanashi and ANGER

ENTRY #2 REINCARNATE 16:

I still haven't found Amber yet. Even though I've been through thousands of reincarnates, I haven't seen her again. 

"Amber...where are you?" I thought to myself, "Where did you go after that incident?"

"Hey! Akon! We're leaving now!"

"Oh! Right! See ya!"

The person that was calling my name was Kanashi. He was a fox monster who loved adventure as much as I did. I talked to him a lot about my troubles and who I really was long ago. He was surprised to hear that I had a loved one that I am still looking for. 

I was walking home with Kanashi and someone else. I forgot who her name was though. But when we came back home, Kanashi realized that he left his red scarf somewhere. 

"Oh no! I have to find it fast!"

"Calm down, Kanashi," I said, "Remember, I'm a human so I can help protect you."

"You're right," Kanashi said, "Let's go."

As we went into the woods, Kanashi went to go find the scarf that he had. He found it but I saw a green glow and heard voices from the distance.

"Hey, Akon! I found my-"

"Shhh! Be quiet. I hear something."

We decided to eavesdrop on the conversation. I didn't completely hear what the conversation was about but there were 2 monsters and one human. The monster held up a sword and then another human appeared. They both killed the first group of monster and human and watched as they dusted and their souls crumbled. Suddenly, we heard a scream from far off into the village. It was then that I knew something bad was going on. I had to save Kanashi from the terrible fate that I foresaw earlier. 

As I walked with Kanashi back to the village, A barrier was put up. I saw in horror how a dark force was causing everyone to drop dead. The bad news was that Kanashi's parents and his little sister were trapped inside of the barrier. Before they died, they asked Akon a simple favor.

"Akon...please...take care of our son...raise him...to become a warrior that is a monster."

"I...I will!"

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

"Did you have the same nightmare again?"

"S-Shin? Where's Akon?"

"Akon's dead. he tried to take on that monster who killed your family."

"No...Akon...AKON!"

Kanashi fell to his knees and started crying again. All of the memories of him started to slip away piece-by-piece.

"I'm sorry...Kanashi...I have to erase your memory of me. And of my true name from everyone else. I don't want to jeopardize my plan to meet up with Amber again.

And with that, ANGER wiped out Kanashi's memories of him and his real name.

"Amber. Don't worry...I'm coming for you."
