At the Charis Itov Memorial Hospital, Kokujin finally woke up. She glanced around the room that she was in. She was on a hospital bed but could still feel some pain where she was cut in half. She looked over to her right and saw Nikushimi sitting right beside her.

"Koku?"

"Shimi?"

"Koku...I...I'm so sorry...I did all of that to you because I couldn't take control of myself. I'll even get her to apologize."

Shimi put on her HATE mask and let LUST do all of the talking.

"Sorry, too. Not for you. But for ENVY. And should I mention to you that everyone has different names? Mine is Lydia and ENVY's is Emile (i-meal)."

"Don't worry about me. Is everyone all right? Are there no more casualties?"

"Why don't you see for yourself."

Shimi then took her mask off and went back to her normal self. Kokujin looked outside of the window of her room and saw people rebuilding the town that was destroyed.

"Did we win the fight?"

"I mean...you don't see the sky all red, do you? So of course, we won."

"I'm the vice district leader and I've been sleeping all this time. I need to see everyone."

"I'm not sure if that's a rank, Koku. Besides, you don't need to see anything. If you move too much, your wounds will reopen."

"I'll stitch them back on. What about you, I hope nothing came up and you decided to take over for me."

"Oh, no no no. I was just staying here this whole time."

Shimi covered her mouth from the last thing that she said.

"Shimi."

"It's okay! I don't mind at all. Besides, someone has to keep an eye on you to make sure that you were still breathing."

"Well...you know that if I die, Lloyd and his gang will take over as leader of the HATRED Quartet. I know they don't have any HATE masks but..."

Kokujin stopped and remembered what happened on the battlefield before she passed out.

"Nevermind."

"I'm just glad you're okay, Kokujin. All those other guys brought you here. You should know that if I lost you, I would quit the HATRED Quartet. Well, simply trio if you died."

Shimi got up from her seat and allowed Kokujin to lean on her while she walked.

"Let's go see your boyfriend now. I'm pretty sure he's okay too."

"What happened to Rave? After our...you know."

"I heard that he was shot three times by Ronan when he was controlled with HATE. They managed to heal him so he's completely alright."

"That's good."

"Maybe if you hadn't spent your whole life ignoring your duty, this city would have been more prepared for what happened!"
