5: Money

I get up from the tree with a bit of relief. I knowww that sounds bad but I couldn't help it. It felt like Louis gave me the sign so it felt good. I head back to the apartment only to see maya and jess weren't there.

"Maya? Jess?" I yell but no one answered me. I shrugged it off and sat on the couch. I grab the bag and dump all the money out. "Wow" I say. I counted all the money and my jaw dropped. "5000 fucking dollars" I scream. I got so excited I started to jump on my couch. I've never had that much money before. "IM RICH" I yell while jumping. Next thing I knew maya and jess walk in the door.

"Haha yeah and then the character di- OMG WHAT THE FUCK" Screamed maya. "Haha...surprise" I say doing jazz fingers with a slight smile. "Wha- ho- where the hell did u get all this money?" Jess says picking up the money. "Um super long, sad story. So my boss, Louis died and he left me with 5000 dollars and he told me to use it to go to london" I say bluntly. "Wait louis died?!?!" Asked maya. "Yeah. I went the shop and he fell on the floor and passed out and then he died" I say. (I HAD NO INTENTION OF MAKING HIS DEATH SOUND FUNNY...BUT I DID)"I'm so sorry willow, I know you loved him very much" says maya pulling me into a hug. "Its okay." I say. I knew louis was watching over me but at the time it hurt so bad. "I texted my mom" I say. "Good" says maya pulling away.

"So what are you gonna use it for?" Asked jess. "Well obviously for london, my bills, rent, and I'll save some for myself" I say. "So you're not gonna give any to me haha" says jess laughing but with seriousness in her face. "Um..I dont think I can. I mean I'm letting you stay here for free so i think i dont need to give you anything
Sorry jess" I say seriously. "Hmm" hums jess. Okayyy well that was hella awkward. Maya looks at the both of us. "Okayy well you should go give the 3000 dollars to Mr. Reeves so me and jess can make you dinner" says maya. "Why are you trying to kick me out so suddenly" I say bothered by best friend trying to kick me out of my own apartment. "Like I said me and jess are gonna make you dinner. BYE" says maya as she slams the door in my face. Okay weird.

I get back in my car..again and drive to school. I got there just in time. I rush to Mr. Reeves office. "Ohhh mr. Reeves you are not gonna believe it" I say slamming the money on his desk. "Where did you get all this money" he says looking at me in disbelief. "My mom has been working extra shifts and she gave some to me" I lie. " Very good Ms. Beach. Well you are officially going to London

I shriek. "Okay calm down willow" he says putting his hands up and flaps them up and down gesturing for me to leave. "Thank you Mr. Reeves" I say as I leave jumping for joy. I'm going to london I couldn't believe it. I walk into class, alone...again (mac DeMarco reference hehe)

Like everyday, class had that awful middle school boy smell of axe body spray. "Okay class so we all know about the trip to london. So the staff has decided to extend it to 1 month for those of you willing to participate but its and extra 2000 dollars" says Mr. Taylor. Fuck. Guess I wont have any money left to pay rent or bills. "Mr. Taylor excuse one moment can I go to the bathroom" I say. "Of course be quick" he says. Ugh my teacher is so hot. Ew never mind.

I rush to the principals office with the extra 2000 dollars. Oh I'm gonna regret this but its london. When do you ever get an opportunity like this? I rush in and slam the extra money on his desk. "Are you gonna keep coming in here giving me money?" He asks laughing. "My bad but I was thinking of going to London but I wanna do the 1 month trip I'd that's alright" I say with a very cheesy smile on my face. "Uhmmm...okay yeah sure" he says flustered. I hand him the last of my money and immediately run out the his office. "Weird kid...weird kid.." I heard him whisper.

I head back in with a smile on my face. "Babe why are you so happy? Did you and Mr. Reeves fuck again?" Asked Brandon out loud so the whole class could hear. I turn my head to him slowly. He backs up in his sit. "Seriously? You never know when to stop do you?" I ask. "Nope" he says with a big smile on his face. I turn back around. The whole class all I could think about was the fact that I'd be going to london for 1 whole month. The class ended surprisingly quicker than usual. I went home.

I bump into gladys on the way inside. "Hi sugar" she says sweetly. "Hii gladys" I say giving her a hug. She handed me a bag of cookies. "I just made these for you and I went to knock on your apartment door and all I heard was these two girls yelling...moaning really" said said. "Oh my god gladys did you say moaning???" I ask in utter shock. "Yes" she said surprised. "Okay well nice talking to you gladys but I really have to go" I say sprinting back to my apartment.

I open the door and there was silence. Then I heard it. "Oh yes jess right there" I heard maya say. "OMG JESS, MAYA????" i say as soon as i heard them. They both screamed. I knock on my bedroom door. "What the hell are you guys having sex in my bed??" I say furiously. Maya opens the door red as a tomato. "H-hey" she said with a twinkle in her eye. "If you guys are gonna have sex here do it..maybe not in my room please" I say. "Wait you're not mad?" Asked jess and she stepped out of the room door. "I feel like your main goal is to make me mad but no. I'm not mad. UR GAYY??" I ask excitedly. "Maya why didnt you tell me???" I ask. "I was unsure and then we went to a movie this morning and we held hands and it just felt...well I've never felt anything like that before so..I..um..wanted to try it out and..yeah I think I am gay" says maya about to break down. "And jess have you always been gay?" I ask. "Yeah. I was gonna tell you but I had just met you and this is all happening to fast okay...I'm sorry if I seem rude all the time its just-" I cut her off. "Fuck that. You guys are sooooo cutee together I might die." I say with a big smile on my face. I couldn't believe it.

Let's face it...they were a lil 💅 from the beginning but congrats maya and jess!
