"Hey.. everything's going to be okay.." - Chapter 10 (ish)

(Miu's POV)

I ended up convincing the secretary to let me and Kaede skip class today. I might miss some crucial information for tests and shit but I could care less. My grades were never the best, and there's nothing else I'd rather be doing than spending time with her.

As I held her hand and walked into my "Ultimate Inventor's Lab'", I noticed Kaede's eyes were a bit teary and her cheeks were a bright shade of red. Her hands were clammy and she was silent the entire walk over.

"Kaede? Are you alright?" I asked her, while pulling her into a seat and slowly stroking her face.

"U-Uh.." She sniffled in between stutters.

"Hey.. everything's going to be okay.." I said as I hugged her and rubbed her back. All the sudden, she wrapped her arms around me and started bawling.

"I- I'm sorry- for being such a wreck.. I don't know what's gotten into me recently. Thank you for being here. I'm not sure what I would have done without you.." Kaede said, her voiced muffled from it being squished into my shoulder.

I cried with her. Seeing her like this is something I never want to experience again. There's nothing more I want then for her to be happy.. I wish I could cheer her up.. Oh! I think I can.

I sniffled and wiped my eyes. "Okay, I need to stop crying. You stay right there and watch me, I'm going to make you something, is that alright?"

She nodded as I pulled out some materials and smiled, knowing this would make her happy.
