"Kaede! Close your eyes." - Chapter 10 (continued)

(Kaede's POV)

I watched Miu tinker with some wires, and that's about the only thing I could name. I'm a pianist, not a mechanic. 

"Kaede! Close your eyes." Miu shouted over the loud machines. 

I did as she told me to, and I slowly closed my eyes. I was a bit afraid what she was going to show me.

All the sudden, I feel lips against mine. Of course, classic Miu. I kiss her back, my eyes still closed. She pulls away and tells me,

"Are you ready for this? It's going to be awesome!"

I nodded. She told me to open my eyes, and what I saw in front of me was quite possibly the best gift I could ever recieve. My eyes started watering from how happy I was, and how much I loved her.

It was a big, glowing, giant heart, that opened and reveal tons of photos of me and her. Tons of diary entries about me. Out of the sides of it, candy and my favorite snacks came out.

I stared in awe of what she created me, and ran to hug her. I'm so lucky, I couldn't have asked for a better girlfriend..

(Miu's POV)

As Kaede hugged me, I wanted to do nothing more than to tell her how amazing she is, how much I adore her, but if she read the letters attached she'd probably find out herself. I don't know if I really WANT her to read them though, that would be embarrassing-

"Heyyyy Miu! What if I read one of your lovey dovey letters?" She teased me.

I sighed. "If you want to, I guess.. I put them there for a reason. Don't show anyone though, or I'll kill you!"

She reached for a letter and started reading it out loud.

"Dear Diary," Kaede laughed hard in between words. "I've been dating my girlfriend for about 3 weeks now.. she's perfect. The way she laughs, the way she smells, the way she dresses, everything. There isn't one thing I'd change. Kaede is the reason I'm still going. She protects me. She sees past the act I put on for everyone. I'll never show her this letter, but if I do, Kaede, you have no clue how much you've changed my life in a couple weeks. Hopes Peak would be boring and hard without you.. I love you so much."

Kaede stared at the letter for a couple seconds more, and then stared at me. She blushed heavily, and suddenly kissed me like she never had before. It was deep and passionate, and filled me with a happiness I couldn't describe.

She pushed me up against a table and started to kiss my neck. I softly moaned as she pushed her knee between my legs.

I took off the goggles from my head, and Kaede took this as an advantage to pin my arms above me. Having no control, she licked my neck and I shivered. Letting go of my arms, she gently squeezed my breasts, making me moan a bit louder.

She seemed to like doing this to me. Teasing me. Just the thought of it made me lustful.

As she was about to take off my shirt, there was a knock at the door.

"One second!" Kaede yelled, pulling my shirt down and placing my goggles back on.

"We'll continue this later.." She whispered into my ear. She left me laying against the table, a hot mess, to go answer the door.

(Kaede's POV)

I opened the door to see Maki there.

"Oh hey! What's up, Maki?" I asked her.

She sighed. "Angie wanted me to tell you that we are having a party tonight at, 6 PM, Mondo's dorm. Don't ask why the party is happening, I don't know. See you there, I guess."

I nodded and closed the door. I smirked at Miu and said,

"I guess we are going to a party then!"

Miu stared at me, clearly disappointed we couldn't continue our fun.

"Oh, cheer up!" I told her.
