"Well, well, well... look who it is." - Chapter 12

(Kaede's POV)

We ran down the stairs, straight to Shuichi's dorm. We have been friends since kindergarten, how could he do this?

"Secretly, Ibuki has always wanted to do something like this!" Ibuki said cheerfully.

"Hey, titless! Shuichi being a prick to my girlfriend doesn't mean it's your opportunity to play a fun little game or something!" Miu shouted at Ibuki.

"You fiends, stop arguing already!" Gundham said.

Sooner than I would've expected, we arrived at Shuichi's dorm. I rang the doorb- no. I pounded on the door.

No response. Of course.

"Hmmm.. where would a little emo bitch be..?"  Rantaro said, definitely a bit out of it.

Ah hah! The library.

We ran towards it, and I could already see him from the window.

"Got em'." Miu mumbled.

All of us jolted to the library and found Shuichi in the same area we saw through the window.

"Well, well, well... look who it is." Rantaro confronted Shuichi with a smile.

"W-What are you guys all doing here? Kaede?" Shuichi seemed startled.

Ibuki giggled, "What do you mean what are we doing? You know what you did!"

"..Huh?" Shuichi was obviously lying.

I pulled out my phone and showed him the video.

He looked stunned.

I laughed in his face. "I wouldn't expect this from you Shuichi. Or maybe I would. What the hell is wrong with you? That's an invasion of our privacy! Are we acting like we don't hear you and Kokichi getting at it every night?"

"Ooooo..." Other people in the library listened. The librarians didn't tell us to be quiet, either.

"Well? Whatcha got to say, Pooichi?" Miu added.

"N-Nothing.."

"Seems like we are making a trip to Mr. Kirigiri's office, huh?" Gundham teased Shuichi.

He sighed. "I'm not sorry. I've loved you since we were 5 Kaede.."

"Hah! Like I care. Your more pathetic than you seem." I replied, defending myself the best I could.

Ibuki grabbed her phone. "Helllloooo? Hi, Mr. Principal! Can we get security down at the library for Shuichi Saihara? Thanksss!"

"Thank you guys, for your help." I told everyone.

There were multiple, "no problems" and "of course!"s.

(Miu's POV)

Kaede, kaede, kaede. How do you keep getting yourself into these situations? It's crazy. It seems like everyday we have to deal with some kinda incident.

As security rolled into the library, they took Shuichi. About time he learned his lesson.

We waved goodbye to Rantaro, Gundham, and Ibuki.

"My dorm?" I asked Kaede.

"Sure."

It was already 8 PM, and we were both very tired. When we got back to my dorm, we flopped onto the bed. I grabbed pajamas and we quickly changed before hopping into bed again and holding each other tight.

"How do you get into these situations so often, Kaeidiot?" I whispered.

"I'm not sure.. I guess Nagito's not on my side." She giggled.

"Well, your birthday is in what? 2 days? Let's take a vacation. It's spring break starting Monday anyway." I offered.

"Sure, but where would we go?"

"Wherever you want, my dear." With that, I kissed her on the forehead and shut off the lights.

"Goodnight Miu.."

"Goodnight, Bakamatsu. I love you.."
