"Forever?" - Chapter 15

(Miu's POV)

"So.. the beach?" I asked Kaede, clearing still trembling.

She rolled her eyes and got up. We both put our swimsuits on, not daring to look at each other due to pure embarrassment.

The creaky floors put into perspective how loud we probably were. If us just stepping on the floor was enough to wake up a 60 year old man, then uh.. we probably were heard from 10 miles away.

The walk of shame out of the hotel was the worst. I held her hand and we walked to the beach that we were supposed to hang out at, occasionally stopping to let Kaede rest for a bit. Her legs were giving out.

Maybe this wasn't the best idea after what we just did.

The rest of the walk there was silent. My allergies were acting up and I even sneezed on my fucking girlfriend. I itched my head as mosquitoes took it being 100 degrees as an advantage.

"Well it's a bit.. snug out here." I remarked.

"To say the least.."

Hot concrete burned my feet, and as I thought I was about to pass out, the sand appeared in front of us.

"Let's go, Miu! My feet are burning!" Kaede yelled.

We both ran towards the water and played in the sand like we were little kids.

"WOOOOO! THIS IS SO MUCH FUNN!"

I smiled at seeing the person I loved most so happy. It was amazing here, even though I had doubts.

Timeskip to them walking around the town (because it's 11 pm and i'm tired)

(Kaede's POV)

"Stay here, I'm going to go into a store real quick." Miu told me.

"Why can't I come?" I asked.

"Just stay!"

I nodded my head and looked around the plaza I was sitting in. The bench gave me splinters that stung, but the view was so beautiful I didn't care. The trees, the breeze, the sun, everything. It made me miss when-

"Heyyy beautiful!" A man in dark clothing approached me. I soon realized that it was.. Shuichi?

"Uh.. hi?"

"Whatcha doing here alone?"

"Waiting for my girlfriend, dipshit."

"Ahh, I see. No need to get so defensive, we're all friends here."

"No we fucking aren't!" Miu yelled, coming out of the shop holding a pink bag in her hands. She set it down and after a while of arguing, Miu just bitch slapped him.

I ran over to Miu, and she pat my head, clearly upset that that happened to me.

"NEXT TIME YOU MESS WITH HER WON'T BE SO PRETTY BITCH!"

Shuichi ran away, crying his emo eyes out.

"You really do have bad luck, huh?" She asked me.

"I guess so."

"I wanna take you somewhere.. to cheer you up."

Miu pulled on my hand, and we stopped at a secluded area with shade and a nice place to have a picnic.

"What did you get?" I asked.

"You'll see!"

A cake, flowers, and a card came out of the bag.

"For me? Really?"

"Of course! It's your birthday, dummy!"

My mouth hung open as I hugged her, I couldn't ask for anyone better to be with me today. We quickly ate the cake, or atleast a good amount of it, before deciding to stay a little longer.

"Hey Miu.."

"Yes, Kaede?"

"You promise you'll never leave.. right?"

"Obviously! I'll be with you forever."

"Forever?"

"Forever." She confirmed.
