"Lance? Hello, what is the matter?" Allura's confused voice projected from the speaker in Lance's helmet.
"Uhhh, well you see, Hunk and I were making some tacos. That's when I realized I stupidly forgot the seasoning back inside my lion so I came to get it. Anyway-" Lance ranted awkwardly before being interrupted by Keith.
"Both me and Lance are stuck inside of the red lion. She's not letting us out, do you think you could help us?"
"Keith? What were you doing at the Lions? Wait so you and Lance are stuck inside of the red lion together? How have you not murdered each other yet?"
"It's only been a few minutes, we're fine princess." Keith said calmly.
"No, actually it's not fine. I'm locked in here with Mullet." The younger complained.
"Hold tight boys, I'll get the other paladins and see what we can do." Allura reassured, disconnecting the call.
Ouch, he acts like spending a little bit of time in the same space as me will kill him. Keith looked down into his lap, waiting for Allura to come.
"We're here!" Hunk yelled from the outside.
"Are you guys alright? We heard what happened." Shiro stared at the red lion, slightly confused.
"Is Allura able to get Red to let us out?" Lance asked, completely ignoring Shiro.
"Be patient Lance, I'm trying. She's not listening to me." Allura pressed her hands against the Lion's chest, begging her to let her friends go.
The princess sadly shook her head, letting her arms drop to her side, feeling the lion's refusal. "It's not working..."
"We can't let them stay in there. Paladins, help me get the lion's mouth open, you too Coran." Shiro instructed, moving over to Red's jaw.
Lance began to grow worried as he heard groans from the outside.
"She's not budging!" Coran shouted.
Everyone on the outside stopped to catch their breaths, pausing when they heard Pidge speak up.
"Guys! I don't think the red lion would keep Keith and Lance in there for no good reason."
"Are you suggesting that Red wants them to do something?" Allura asked.
"Wait Pidge, I think you're right. Keith and Lance have been at each other's throats the moment Keith came to visit. Maybe she's trying to get them to bond." Shiro stared into the red lion's eyes, sensing the correctness in his statement.
"That's ridiculous! Red wouldn't do that." Lance argued.
"Contrary number 3. You two were both paladins of the red lion. It would make perfect sense for Red to be under stress with you fighting all the time. I think it's up to you guys if you want to get out or not."
"I think we're gonna die in here."
"You aren't gonna die in there Lance. Just focus on trying to get along with Keith. It'll be best if we leave to brainstorm alternate solutions but in the meantime, you'll have to try to get out yourselves. Understood?"
"Yes Shiro."

Good day to you friends (am I allowed to call you that?). I hope you are doing well. A really sweet person that I don't usually talk to sent an extremely kind message this morning that helped me feel better about the way things have been going. So yeah, if you get a chance to do or say something nice than you might fix a person's day <3 (ps: my messages are open to anyone who needs them.)
I'm sorry for this short chapter, I'll have another one out soon.
Here's another question to end off today's chapter because questions are always fun :P
What song have you been listening to lately?
(One Step has been keeping me sane ^^)
