Sunghoon

I was finished with my shower and I am about to go to sleep when I notice how Gaeul is not on my bed. Where did she go? I look around and she's on the couch so I bought her on the bed again and again, she went to the couch. She likes the couch so much that she'd rather sleep there? I unconsciously pout as the puppy look back at me. She wagged her tail before coming to me and lick my face before going back to her couch. I let out a laugh as I pet her and cuddle the puppy stuff toy instead.

Gaeul was now asleep on the couch but I don't find the need to sleep. I instead walk out my room and I notice how Jake's room is open. I peeked inside and I saw no one. Where'd he go? I walk downstairs when I notice the lights that are on. When I got there, I saw Jake standing in front of the bookshelf with the book on hand which I guess is the book he just finished reading. His eyes roam around the living room and then rushed to the dining room, coming outside holding a chair. I let out a laugh at his cute actions and how he can't reach the top shelf.

However his excited smile turns into a sad one when he take out some books. He starts to search again but in the end, he just stared at the shelf before sadly stepping down the chair. I just stood at the stairs as I observe him bring back the chair to the dining area. He's still frowning when he walk out and sat on the couch.

"Jake?"

I let my presence known and his head turn to look at me before a smile is painted on his face as he stood up and approach me. Without his phone with him, I can see how he look around for a thing to write with. But as he didn't find any, he just drag me to the shelf and pointed at the top.

"You finished the book? What are you wanting to read next?"

He sadly shook his head before grabbing the book "His Glide" that he placed on the lower part of the shelf and showed it to me.

He hold out two fingers and shook his head.

"Book 2? Is not there?"

He nodded before pointing at the top shelf.

"That's odd. The book 2 is here"

I searched the shelf but I didnt find it.
Didn't I get the two books before? I got them right? I can recall I place the book here.

I tried to recall when I remember I had it in my room. I just didn't read it because of what happened.

"I think I had it in my room. "

His smile widens as he ran upstairs so I follow. Entering my room, I notice how he is scanning everywhere. Oh I forgot it's his first time entering my room.

I went to my bedside drawer and go through the content until I found it.

"Here it is!"

I gave him the book and his smile is priceless.

He went to my desk and grab some paper and pen before writing something.

"Did you read it?"

I look down before shaking my head, no.

"I'm sorry, did I say something wrong?"

I laughed a little as I sat on my bed with him still holding my notebook and pen as he sat beside me.

"I stopped reading that, I actually just is starting but . .. Then something happened and I just didnt know that exist"

When I turn to look at him, he is looking back at me before writing again.

"I'm sorry, I made you sad"
