I watched in sadness as my mom proudly walked around the party with my perfect sister and introducing her to all of her rich and fake friends...

... while i sit here in a corner hiding from important people following exactly what my lovely parents told me to do.

That's right. I'm the disappointment of the family.

My older sister finished her studies this year and is now a doctor who had high grades while i'm here failing most of my subjects not even knowing what my future is. She's an outgoing person and i am a lonely introvert. And lastly, she's very pretty and i'm here, the ugly sibling and don't forget as fat as a hippo (although i did hear some of my mom's friends say i look like her too, but i really don't see it.)

I mean what do you expect? I'm the middle child.

My mom favored my older sister and my dad spoiled my younger brother.

I'm stuck in the middle with no one to love me.

I was busy daydreaming but a tap on my shoulder brought me out of my thoughts.

I looked to the side to see no one else but my only best frien- well, i've had this little crush on him for almost a year now but i've promised myself to hide it from him until i grow grey hair.

"Y/n-"

"Jin? What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in Korea?" I stated, shocked and confused at the same time.

"I told my mom i won't go. I don't want to leave someone important to me yet so she agreed and left the house to me."

"That's good- i mean- good as in she allowed you, but also bad that she had to go.." I smiled sheepishly. "We could have more sleepovers like before."

He beamed at that showing his lovely smile and winked at me. "Why not we do that today? I still have some of your clothes from last Saturday."

"Sure."

Jin laid in my bed in the room i always stay at when we have sleepovers, playing games on his phone and eating some chips.

"You know, i have a whole ass mansion all to myself now and i'm planning to ask you to live with me." He said, eyes not leaving his screen.

I was standing across a mirror, looking at my ugly face, body and existence before answering, "Sure, it's not that mom and dad cares but you should ask them too."

"Of course they'd care. You're still their daughter after all." He paused the game and grabbed the bag of chips handing them to me.

"No thanks, I'm fat enough Jin. Mother told me it's unladylike for girls to be as obese as me." I gave him a sad smile.

He snorted and scoffed at the word 'obese'.

"Oh please, you're like a stick now y/n. Your sister's as thin as a twig and you're not even fat."

"Well that's not what my mother said. She said i'm the ugliest human being to ever exist and that she's ashamed i was born in her family." I looked at my shoes suddenly finding it interesting not wanting Jin to pity me as the pain that i felt from hearing those words went back.

"I'm such a disappointment. A stupid mistake."

Jin knows i cover my face with my hair whenever i try to hide my tears so he gently pulled me down to sit on the bed beside him.

I cursed myself for crying again after mentally scolding myself to never cry over the exact same thing.

He tucked the hair behind my ears and softly lifted my face up to look at him.

Seeing my tears made him feel hurt and mad at my parents who only cared for reputation and people's opinions.

"As much as i am offending my title, you're beautiful y/n. You just don't see it." He said softly, looking me straight in the eyes.

I sniffled at his words. Feeling butterflies despite the wrong timing.

"But i do." He smiled genuinely.

"From your head," He gave it a soft kiss.

"And your nose." He pecked my red nose cutely making me giggle softly at him.

"To your cheek." He held my face and gave my cheeks a quick peck.

"And even to your lips..."

His eyes stayed staring at my lips and it looked like he was hesitating but he gazed off to my eyes and asked, "May I?"

Without thinking, i nodded and in the next second, our lips met each other in a passionate kiss.

It felt like fireworks were exploding around us and the butterflies in my stomach wouldn't stop fluttering. His soft lips felt like heaven and just the feeling of having him close to me already brought a smile to my face.

After pulling away for the lack of breath, he rested his forehead against mine.

"Every inch of you is breathtakingly gorgeous." He cringed a little at his words making me laugh.

"You are perfect y/n. I want you to know that and if i have to tell you that everyday then i'm doing it."

"Thanks Jin. I'm glad i have a bestfriend like you." I teased while hugging him.

"We just made out and you're still calling me your bestfriend. That hurt y/n." He tried to pout but it looked funny so i burst out laughing again the moment i saw his face.

He scoffed rolling his eyes and started tickling me until i can't breath.

"Hey! S-Stop! What do you w-want me t-to call you then?" I said between laughters.

He stopped and answered, "Mine."

"No thanks. I prefer, Bread Jinnie." I smirked at him.

And that was the last thing y/n said before her now boyfriend tackled her into the bed and tickled the life out of the poor girl.
