UNEXPECTED LOVER - A Fred Weasley story

I stirred all night in my sleep the night prior, Fred was running through my mind so much and i wasn't sure why, we hated each other!... i think, why would he help me? Godric i was tired, i knew when we got on the train i would sleep.

The good thing was about going to school today meant i could see my best friends, Pansy Parkinson, Draco Malfoy and Blaise Zabini. I cherished Pansy so much, she was my Queen, my other half, Blaise was like my partner in crime, we'd always pull pranks on other Slytherins and Draco, well we did bicker like we were related but, i love him so much too. Being with them again would help me push away this feeling with Fred.

On the platform i knew i wouldn't find my friends so i went to sit with the twins and Lee Jordan, Lee was one of my good friends from Gryffindor, he was such a funny guy and he was so genuinely  nice.  I knew at one point, Blaise would get sick of Draco and Pansy snogging and would come and find me, so i'll just wait it out. 

The trolley lady came up and me and Lee jumped up to get snacks, once we got a hand full consisting of Chocolate Frogs, Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, Peppermint Toads, Wizz Bees and so much more. I threw them on the seat next to me.

I tried to grab my beg to put them all in, but at the same time i reached up, the train jolted and i was thrown back into the seat behind me to realise i was being held again by familiar arms. 

Fred... Fucking... Weasley. 

I had fallen straight into his lap, his hands were resting on the sides of my hips so i wouldn't fall again. I stayed there for a second taking in the moment, his touch, it was soft, gentle and protective just like last night. I started to feel stomach go upside down, Lee was screaming in laughter and George was wide eyed, probably because he didn't push me on the floor but held me. 

In the end i don't think i could say i hate is boy as much as i do..

Perfect timing, Blaise walked had walked in looking for me, i threw myself off Fred and into Blaise's arms. "B!" "EM!" 

"Wait" Blaise let go and stared at me and Fred, looking back and forth between us, "what did i walk in on?" I looked back over to Fred to see his cheeks were bright red and he had now pulled his bag on top of his lap.

I giggled to myself. "Oh the train jolted and i feel over" He narrowed his eyebrows at me and smirked, "c'mon they're waiting" I picked up my bag and said bye to the boys.

I at down next to Blaise, across from Draco and Pansy. 'Oi can you two stop eating each others faces for one minute?" I giggled as Pansy threw her arms around me and Draco followed suit. 

"Em you can't talk, i saw how red Fred was when his hands left your hips, not to mention he put a bag on his lap afterwards" Blaise smirked at me while sipping some water. "WHAT! EMILY! YOU AND WEASLEY? I THOUGHT YOU HATED HIM, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME" Pansy looked fake hurt with her hand on her chest, "US" Draco said correcting Pansy. 

"guys guys chill! I fell into him when the train jolted, i promise there isn't anything happening" I shook my head and pulled out my book, i was sorta mad because this trip was supposed to help me forget about Fred and its now become all about him. 

Even reading my book, i couldn't get his stupid face out of my head, his red hair, how it sat so effortlessly, and when its wet, oh don't get me started. But i still, UGHHH

I was so excited to finally get there without being pestered about Fred. We got into the Great Hall and dug into straight away, piling food on our plates like we have never eaten before. "Ugh Em, I'm stuffed can we please go back to our dorm?" Pansy said with her eyes shut resting her head on Draco's shoulder. 

I turned my my head away from flinging the mash potato at first years, "alright lets go then" 

We got up and Pansy kissed Draco goodbye, rather passionately. Blaise pucked his lips at me jokingly so i decided to rub in mash potato all over his lips, i grabbed Pansy's arm running out of the hall laughing hysterically. 

"I'll get you later for that Jackson!" I stuck up the finger at him and kept running.

As we turned the corner, Fred had Adrian Pucey against the wall and Pucey was... well crying. "Uh Fred?" He turned to look at me and back to Adrian, he let his arms drop and Pucey just ran off. 

i touched his arm lightly and he jumped at my touch, he wouldn't make eye contact with me.  "Fred.. Hey Fred. It's okay, h- He hasn't come near me, it's okay" he turned his cheek towards me. 

"I know, it's okay, i was just letting him know what happened if he did" he gave a weak smile and proceeded to walk back into the Great Hall. 

"Uh lover alert, WHAT WAS THAT" Pansy jumped towards me like an idiot. "Pans calm down, i'll explain everything when we get back to the dorm, but you cannot tell anyone, not even the boys, they'll rip Pucey's head off" She gave me a confused look. 

"Hey i mean i would love to see Pucey's head ripped off but not by the boys, they'll be sent to Azkaban and i quite like them here not there", i laughed as i linked arms with her walking towards our dorm. 

When we got back to the dorm, we both quickly got changed in your pj's and sat hugging pillows on my bed, "tell me everything" she was staring at me wide eyes. I sighed and told her what happened last night and the Fred situation. 

"IM GOING TO KILL HIM!" she flung herself up and i had to lunge of the bed to tackle her. "Not before i do, but lets just wait yeh"

"or before Fred kills him" She said now hiding behind her pillow and i threw mine at her laughing along.
