UNEXPECTED LOVER - A Fred Weasley story

Malfoy's Ball

This past summer has been amazing, Fred has been sneaking into my place almost every night until last week where Molly didn't care anymore and let him sleep at night. We played Quidditch in the afternoons until we dropped with exhaustion.  Some days i would have a day with the girls and we would go shopping, do each others makeup and dress up really hot for no reason at all. I haven't laughed this much in my entire life. These people are my family and i'm finally feeling complete. 

I got up earlier and did a workout this morning so i felt fresh and just good. I went inside the Burrow to help Molly with breakfast. "So my dear, how is it in lovers paradise?" Molly giggled. My cheeks flushed red. "He is really sweet, sometime it scares me because we hated each other for most of our lives, now, i can't see my life without him" i sheepishly said admitting that last sentence. 

Molly stopped what she was doing and hugged me so tight i felt like my eyeballs were going to pop out. "i'm so happy for the both of you, i couldn't ask for a better boy for you to be with and i'm so grateful your his girlfriend and not some whore" Molly pulled back and smiled at me before going back to the eggs. "thank you Molly," She looked up with a confused expression, "not just for the kindness, but helping me live, raising me, feeding me and giving me a roof to sleep under and consistently making sure i'm okay, your the mother i strive to be like when i have my own children, to me, your my mother" I gave her a kiss and waved goodbye from the burrow to get changed before breakfast.

Molly was left there with a single tear running down her cheek, Arthur and George came down talking about giving George a new broom for school. The saw Molly standing there and ran up to her.

 "my dear, what's the happened?" 

"are you okay mum?"

Molly just smiled to the two, "Genuine beauty is so unexpected,  i really love my family!" She started giggling and Arthur walked to speak to her more privately while George left to Emily's place. 

George walked up to the door and walked in, he walked around the corner to see his brother and his best friend sharing a quick passionate kiss. "guess wha- WOAH GUYS SOME WARNING!!!" 

Emily looked up and rolled her eyes, "maybe you should knock" 

"next time we'll be fucking in front of you!" Fred said back earning a smack in the head from Emily. 

Emily sat back on her bed while Fred sat behind her and his arm wrapped around her waist, George ran up and laid across the bed, "Anyway what i was saying is that since today is the last day of summer, the Malfoys sent us an invite to their ball again, Dad needs to go because of work so mum is making us go this year" 

Fred hit his head back against the headboard. "yay how amazing" 

Emily almost felt sick. 

What if she will be there? 

"the good thing is it's a masquerade ball" George added. "A what?" Fred said looking confused. 

Emily felt a relief knowing she an hide behind a mask, "It's a ball where you were a mask, either completely hiding your identity or only your eyes"

It was now 6:00pm and we were about to leave to this stupid ball. They do this every year, like why.

I got ready with the girls and i picked out a long dress, it was tight around the top and as soon as it was above my hips its flowed slightly out.  It was a black dress with a mesh cover on top, clumped at the bottom and spreading out as it rose up was green flowers. I let my hair go curly and wore a black eye mask to match the black dress. 

Hermione wore this blue flowy dress with a pink clip in her hair matching with her pink eye mask. Ginny wore this beautiful red dress that had sequins around the bottom, it was a shoulder strapped dress and she had a red eye mask to match.  

As we walked down the stairs, all the boys wore a black suit and each had a different coloured tie and mask. 

We were going by floo powder so each person would go in pairs, As i went up to Fred he whispered into my ear, "you look so fucking beautiful it scary."  His breath on my neck sent shivers down my spine that also calmed my nerves. 

I took his hand and looked up at him, "and your so fucking hot" i whispered back before pulling him in for a kiss.

We all meet outside the Malfoy's Manor about to enter. 

There house was so huge, We walked in the main ballroom and it was filled with people some who i barely recognised. But some i could easily tell, most people here were Slytherins, all were purebloods. because god forbid is any half bloods or mudbloods were invited. 

I knew in my gut that this night, was only the beginning of something big. something was going to happen but what i couldn't figure out.
