"Woah this is your house? It's really nice." Cory said as I let her into my house.

"Thanks. Shoes off by the way. C'mon let's go to my room for a bit before we head out." I gestured for her to head upstairs first after she took off her shoes. I took a better look at her..."outside of school" clothes. Yeah. We can say that.

She was wearing a black shirt that went hung low on one shoulder and jeans. I noticed she was wearing a bracelet with a heart on it. "First door on the right." I said as we neared the top.

"HA. I knew your room would look boring!" She exclaimed as she practically busted down my door.

"I mean I've only been here for about a month. And I lived in a dorm room for like 5 years so I don't really have anything to decorate it with. All the stuff I wanted to bring with me is on my desk." I pointed to my desk where there was my PC, a picture of my family and I when I was 8, and a cute little seal plushie.

Cory looked over at my desk and immediately took the picture off of it. "You have a brother?"

"Yeah. He didn't come with us since he has his own life at this point. He's like 25 or something."

"Aw. Are you guys close at all?" She asked still looking at the picture.

"I guess so. I used to go to his room to sleep whenever I had a nightmare when I was younger." I plopped down on my bed and say cross legged. "So where do you wanna go eat?" I watched her as she put the picture down and layed down next to me on my bed. 'I guess she's pretty comfortable around me then' I thought to myself.

"Well I kinda wanna get burgers but I also want pizza. Maybe even tacos. I don't know! There's so many good places around here Lane. Why are you making me choose!?" Dang she really gets excited over food. But who doesn't right?

"I don't know any places to eat around here other than fast food joints so you gotta pick the place."

"Wait weren't you gonna go with your cousin?" She asked. I nodded.

"We're going out this weekend. But, I'm hungry now and I don't have any other friends, nor do I really wanna go with anyone other than my family and you so." I said and shrugged nonchalantly. Cory's nice and fun to be around so I don't mind going to eat with her. Plus I get to hang out with her.

She was silent for a moment so I turned to face her and I find she's currently burying her face in my blanket for some reason. I smiled and took this opportunity to tickle her.

I attacked her sides and she started laughing loudly. "H-Hey stop...stop it! I'm easily t-ticklish stop i-it!" She yelled between laughs. "L-Lane stop!" She continued to laugh so I continued to tickle and laugh with her.

Her laugh is one of those laughs that is very contagious and very attractive.

After another minute or so of tickling and laughing I decided to lay off. She layed there gasping for air and wiping tears from her eyes.

"Geez Lanie you almost made me freakin pee myself." I smirked at her. She probably didn't mean to let that slip. "What? What's with the face?"

"Lanie?" I asked her and she turned red and quickly shoved the blanket on her face again. "Who's Lanie?"

She mumbled something into my blanket. "What?" I asked her and poked her side.

"I said," She pulled away from my blanket. "It came out on accident. I-I didn't mean to call you Lanie I just thought it was a cute nickname and it was in the moment and I thought you wouldn't hear it or something so I- ow!" I pinched her leg.
