I woke up to my alarm going off for school and already hating the day. At least it's a friday.

I got up, did my morning routine and walked back to my room to lay in bed again. But that was quickly interrupted.

"Yo get up sleepy head. Damn not even dressed yet what's up with that?" Cory said as she...entered my room? What the hell?

"Who the fuck let you in Cory?" I asked her.

She laughed and said, "Your mom did. She's super nice." I sighed. Of course she let her in.

"Well you'll have to wait outside while I change." I said as I grabbed her shoulders to try and drag her out.

"Fine fine. Don't take too long though. I'm trying to get to school." I raised my eyebrow at her and gave her a very unconvinced look. "What? Can't I try to get the delinquent status off of me? It's messing with my grades and it's annoying because my parents are bothering me about it." I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever. Get out of my room already so I can change." I shoved her out and closed my door.

After a few minutes I came out all changed. I found Cory sitting at the top of the stairs talking to my mom who was at the bottom.

"Ah Lane! I was just talking to your friend about the food I pack for you." My mom said to me and Cory smiled.

"Yeah it's super good. Lane only let me have a piece though. She even put it in my mo-"

"Ok! Sorry Mom but Cory and I have to go." I said interrupting Cory who was smirking at me now. I grabbed her ear and dragged her down the stairs past my mom.

"Oh sweetie don't forget your lunch. I packed some extra for Cory too so be sure to give her some ok? Bye girls, I love you Lane." My mom said as she handed me my food and  gave me a kiss on the forehead and waved us goodbye.

"Your mom is nice. I'm assuming your dad left for work already." I nodded slowly and got into Cory's car that was parked on the curb.

"Yeah he goes to work early and comes home late. It kinda sucks but at least my mom has generally nornal work hours." I stared out the window. In all honesty I love my parents very much but they do work a lot. I gets lonely at home sometimes. It doesn't help that I don't have many friends, overseas or otherwise. At least Cory is a good friend and Tenna is...nice when we're alone I suppose.

"So you gonna check out the film club after school?" Cory asked while driving.

"Yeah probably. Where do you wanna meet up for lunch?"

"Oh shit I forgot I was supposed to take you with me! Umm just meet out at the front gate and we'll head to my car. Sound good?" I nodded and she pulled into the school's parking lot and parked near one of the exits. We hopped out and we went our separate ways.

I headed to my locker to switch out textbooks when I saw Tenna at her locker. She was pressed up against it with some guy being inches from her face. I quietly but attentively did my locker stuff while paying attention to what was going on with Tenna.

"C'mon Tenna no one's gonna know. How would they know?" The guy said.

"They're gonna know. They have cameras everywhere Aiden, even the parking lot." The guy hit the locker just above her head and it made her flinch and wimper a bit. Poor girl.

"Whatever. Can't do anything with you." He stormed off and Tenna finally noticed I was there, slowly switching out textbooks.

"What a dick." I said not looking at her.
