I am the one that pays for war.

There I sat, in the shadows
Unseen, and unspoken.
There I sat making peace with the world, sewing each tiny wound together with my bare hands.
Unseen and unspoken.
In my own little lands.
Now here I sit watching my shadows burn to the ground.
Here I sit sobbing endlessly,
Unseen and spoken.
My heart torn.
Because I sewed the seeds of peace, yet I am the one that pays for war.

"I sewed the seeds of peace, yet I am the one that pays for war."
-Wilbur Soot (Ghostbur)
