I Need A Family...

CHAPTER 2

Practice ended and everyone was standing in a circle listening to Coach Ukai give his usual feedback, telling us to cool off right and eat a good dinner. I listened intently as he told me how to fix up my receivers. Everyone seemed pretty relaxed until Daichi started to speak.

Daichi: "Okay we are going to get the pack meeting set up. First years please clean up the gym and wait for our packs second in command to come get you." we all nodded in agreement. I race Kageyama to the storage room to grab a mop while Tsuki and Yams just walked over to the net and began to pull it down. we heard the yells of Tanaka as he talked to another loud girl.

Tsukishima: "I guess it runs in the Tanaka bloodline to be loud."

Yamaguchi: "Tsuki be nice!" I chimed in, agreeing with the green haired boy. The two of them carried the last pole into the storage room, noticing the broken broom... "Why is this here?"

Kageyama: "Who cares its just a broken broom?"

Yamaguchi: "But why would they keep it?"

Hinata: "Maybe ask Daichi Next practice?" he agreed, and we went back to finishing the cleaning. Soon we had finished and were waiting for the Packs second in command to come get us. we speculated who it could be, except Tsukishima, who ignored us and chose to listen to his music. Where did his headphones even come from? Kageyama and Yamaguchi both thought that it would be Suga...

Kageyama: "He's Vice Captain, that's second in command on the team."

Yamaguchi: "It would make sense. Have the pack and team reflect off one another so they know who's in charge."

Hinata: "But then Daichi would be Leader yeh?"

Both: "Yeh?"

Hinata: "But I swear Noya called Suga..." I was cut off by the doors to the gym sliding open to reveal,

Tsukishima: "Hey Asahi."

Others: "ASAHI!?"

Hinata: "YOUR SECOUND IN COMAND?!" Asahi chuckled at our reactions. And just nodded, "I-"

Yamaguchi: "I thought it would be Suga for sure!"

Kageyama: "And Daichi as Alpha!?" Asahi laughed and we, yes even Tsukishima, looked at him. He calmed down and then spoke.

Asahi: "Well come along then pups, we will explain it all when you meet the packs Alpha." We followed Asahi up to the club room. He was defiantly relieving pheromones; the smell of wood and sweet honey filled the air. We went up the stairs and turned the corner taking only a few steps Before I could smell it, I'm sure the others could too. The wild mix of smells from the room, the pack had surely set up a nest.

Asahi knocked twice on the door and soon it opened. Nishinoya opened it and immediately ran back towards the group, hiding behind Daichi who was sitting... to the left of the one in the center of the circle they had formed. Asahi ushered us inside and showed us where to sit. We where closest to the door and outside the circle of jackets and seemingly spear cloths that was around them all. Asahi went and sat to the right of, who we would soon learn is Alpha.

"Welcome to our Pack First years. I am Pack Alpha, please feel free to call me mum or just Suga if your more comfortable with that." Suga spoke kindly and softly with the same smile he always wore. "My second in command is Asahi, as you just found out."

Asahi: "welcome and please feel free to call me Uncle if you feel comfortable." He smiled softly. The others and I looked at one another confused. Both of them noticed and Asahi continued, "You all look confused. What's up?"

Tsukishima: "Well for a start what's with the names?" Tsukishima was as cold as ever and I notice Noya flinch scooting into Daichi's lap now.

Suga: "Well as Alpha and second in command we are in charge of protecting the pack, like how a mother or father protects their children. And Uncles and Aunties are the same. So all packs use this type of system."
