CHAPTER 15

Everyone thank the Queensland 3 day lockdown for this chapter as it never would have been written with out it lol.
I've been caught up with... Accualy doing my class work but now it's done for a week so I'll be writing more so I don't miss any updates.
Once school is back I'll be busy the first 2 weeks because my assessment is a pain. Hopefully I'll have some saved to post otherwise it will be small chapters. Love ya all

Yamaguchi's story part 2

Karasuno: 3nd year

Nishinoya's POV

I was lying in bed, texting my boyfriend Asahi. I'd graduated a week ago and was now all packed up to join him and Suga in their apartment. Daichi was moving out to house sit for his parents while they took the year to travel, so there was 'room for me' as Suga said.

|From: Asa-love|

|Message: Perfect! I'll be around in an hour to pick everything and you up. |

|Message: Then I thought we could get lunch together in the park? |

I smiled to myself before quickly typing my response, my cheeks heating up a little.

|To: Asa-love|

|Message: Sounds perfect love! Ill see you in an hour 😊|

I put my phone down and started to move my boxes down the stairs and to the front door so that it didn't take too long once Asahi arrived.

{Message: we need to talk about something}

My mum helped me with the heavy few that I had and then we sat on the couch to wait. We talked together, mostly her excited and sad that I was leaving and 'moving on with the next stage of your life.' As she put it. I laughed at it even though it was super true. In another week I would begin classes at the local university, I was going to study teaching too like Suga and Hinata (well that's what he wants to do) but after a late calling I decided to study computer science. Turns out I'm really good at technology. I'm also getting a minor in store management for when Asahi Opens his boutique. Asahi will definitely do it! He's amazing at clothing design. Soon he arrived and we placed all the boxes into his car. We headed off after a goodbye to my mum, with only a few tears from her and myself. Chatting happily as we drove to the park.

Time skip

We were sat in the park after having our lunch, I was laying happily in his lap soaking up the sunlight while he ran a hand through my hair. But he suddenly stopped. I opened my eyes and looked up at him. He was looking vaguely into the distance, like something was on his mind. I reached up to touch his cheek, rubbing my thumb over it. he looked down to me a slight smile appeared for a second.

Nishinoya: "Something on your mind? You seemed to be thinking pretty hard about something." I asked softly.

Asahi: "kinda, yeh" he looked off again for a moment before he spoke again, "what do you think of Yamaguchi?" I was a surprised and sat up, looking at him. He would usually panic but he remained the same look. I looked a way and felt my face heat up.

Nishinoya: "Yamaguchi? I like him, he's a great friend. He's so kind and sweet and cute"

Asahi: "Cute huh?" he looked a me with a knowing smile. The heat on my face only got worse, "your blushing."

Nishinoya: "S-Shut up..." I turned away only to hear Asahi chuckle and pull my face back towards his. "W-why do you ask?"

Asahi: do you remember what happened two weeks ago?" I thought back to exactly what he was mentioning...

Yamaguchi: "He and Yahaba, they. They were kissing. He cheated on me..."

Noya: "HOW DARE HE! HOW DARE HE HURT MY KOHAI! IM GONNA KILL-"

Yamaguchi: "Don't. please."

Nishinoya: "okay. only for you. but I'm here for you. okay?"

Yamaguchi: "Okay"

...

Asahi: "Yamaguchi, its going to be just fine okay. I promise you."

Yamaguchi: "Why, why does everyone I've ever fallen for leave or get stolen from me!?"

Nishinoya: "its going to be fine... I wish I could keep you safe..."

Yamaguchi: "What was that?"

Asahi: "He just said we will make sure that your okay. whatever you need, come to us, we'll help."

Nishinoya: "How could I forget, he was heartbroken. It hurt to see him like that." I looked down, wanting to forget how Yamaguchi had looked that day.

Asahi: "Well I heard what you said..."

Nishinoya: "huh?"

Asahi: "I wish I could keep you safe forever. That's what you said." I felt my throat tighten, was he mad at me, did he think I didn't love him did he- my thoughts stopped with a hand on mine, "I couldn't agree more."

Nishinoya: "wait... what!?" was I not the only one who felt this way!?

Asahi: "I feel the same feelings towards Yamaguchi as I do for you Yuu. I really like him." He looked into my eyes bringing a hand to my cheek now, "How about you?"

Nishinoya: "I like him too..."

-Time skip-

It's been 3 months since Asahi, and I talked about our feelings for Yamaguchi. We both agreed to wait until he left high school to make any moves on asking him to be with us. but we did agree that over the next year, we should do two things. Go to every game he played and to hang out just the three of us as much as we could.

Today was one of those days. We went to watch the Karasuno vs Date Tch match and of course Karasuno crushed it. The libero I helped train up is doing great! His rolling thunder is pretty sweet too. Anyway after the match we went down to see them all, most Yamaguchi though.

Hinata: "ASAHI-SEMPAI! NOYA-SEMPAI!" Hinata yelled and ran up to us as the others followed. "Did you guys come to see us!?" I chuckled.

Asahi: "We didn't want to miss our first years first game as third years."

Tsukishima: "that was a mouthful and a half uncle." We all chuckled, the second years all came over to say hi to me and asked me heaps of questions, while the others talked to Asahi, other than Yamaguchi, in fact I couldn't even see him. The first years all just stood there. Confused to say the least.

1st year A: "Um captain, who are they?" all the first years turned around, I looked over and saw him. he had small tears on his cheeks and in his eyes, a shocked smile on his face."

Asahi: "He just said we will make sure that your okay. whatever you need, come to us, we'll help."

Yamaguchi: "come to my first game as captain."

Both: "Huh?"

Yamaguchi: "Ennoshita told me a week ago... I'm going to be the next captain. I want you both to come to the game... please".

Asahi: "Of Course we will come."

Nishinoya: "But Why us?"

Yamaguchi: "because..."

Yamaguchi: "They're our ace and libero." He ran up to us and jumped into our arms. giving us a hug, more tears falling.
