I Need A Family...

CHAPTER 4

EXTRA CHAPTER THIS WEEK!! I've got a few extra chapters saved so I thought id put this one out and another early next week or late this week. 

Hinata's Second year Flashback

"SHOYO HINATA PLEASE REPORT TO THE HEAD OFFICE WITH YOUR BELONINGS." The speaker's female voice filled the classroom over the raw of the rain. I was confused but grabbed all of my stuff and headed out. when I arrived, my father was standing there.

Father: "Hey Shoyo!" he said holding his arms open, I jumped into his arms and hugged him back.

Hinata: "Hello dad! Why are you here?"

Father: "I thought you and I could go out together? Have a father son afternoon. And don't worry I spoke to coach and he said it was okay!" he said with a smile. I agreed, jumping around him. We walked out to his little blue car he loved like his second child, as I'm his only child. "Oh Shoyo sit in the back please."

Hinata: "Why dad? Don't you want me to sit next to you?" I chuckled and he joined me.

Father: "hehe, no no. the seatbelt broke this morning, and we need to be safe." I listened to him and jumped into the back of the car. Sitting in the middle seat so I could better talk to dad. We talked with one another as dad drove us along the soaked roads.

As we drove along the rain picked up. making it almost impossible to see, even with high beams on. He found a safe looking area and went to park. We sat there talking for a little bit before it calmed down enough before dad went to turn out. but I don't remember what happened next. Well, I remember one thing. The loud sound of a car crashing into ours.

Third person POV

I was looking out my window when I saw it. a car was coming over the hill, clearly going Way over the speed limit. While it did another small blue car was pulling off the side of the road. If he hadn't been speeding, I'm sure it never would have happened. But that wasn't the case. The small blue car was hit by the other. Both spinning out and the blue's diver side slamming into a telephone pole. I quickly reacted pulling out my phone, calling the ambulance and ran to the blue. But when I looked in the window, I knew it was bad.

Hinata's POV

I woke up and saw a bright white room and tubes coming from seemingly my nose. I tried to pull it off me. freaking out slightly about why it was there? Until I saw a lady in dark blue and red, she grabbed my arms and pinned them to my side.

Melody: "Calm down Hinata-kun. Its alright." I stopped moving opting to look up at the lady, who was definitely a nurse. She smiled at me and continued, "Hello Hinata-kun, my name is Melody. I'm a Trauma nurse. Can you tell me what you last remember?"

(Side note: Melody IS a real person. She is a Trauma nurse at my local hospital. She was part of a program I did where they help students understand the trauma that comes from car crashes, both physical and mental. She was super sweet so I'm writing her in as a tribute to her and all I learned.)

I then went on to explain everything I could remember. How we went to pull out of the side of the road and the feeling of almost being flung around the car before passing out cold. As well as glimpses of memory. Waking up and screaming, having a bright light shined into my eye, and the sound of sirens all around. She kept her calm expression and wrote down a lot of what I said.

Melody: "Alright then Hinata-Kun. Now you have a few things wrong with you but nothing that won't heal soon. You had a major concussion at time of the incident, but It has decreased to a minor, you also have a broken rib and you also sprained your wrist. The wrist will be mostly recovered by the end of next week."

Hinata: "What about my dad?" I asked. The nurse gave me a little strange look before going to talk

Melody: "well Hinata-Kun..."

Doctor: "MELODY COME WITH ME AT ONCE! NEW PATIENT! FIGHT SCENE RESULTS!" the doctor yelled hysterically. The nurse began to panic and apologized before sprinting out the door, slamming it closed and leaving me in the quiet room, only a slow beeping heard. I closed my eyes and just listened to the beeping sound before it disappeared. Id fallen back asleep.

-Time skip-

The pack had come to visit me not too long ago. All of them were concerned over me, especially the Alpha and Uncle (Kinoshita is current uncle) who both scented me as well as Noya and Ennoshita who where super protective of me. as we were talking and laughing, Melody came back and asked for the Alpha, Sugawara went outside with her. Tanaka asked me why I wasn't in school when I should be.

Tanaka: "where you skipping!! Hinata you badass!"

Kinoshita: "Tanaka! Be a role model. Don't encourage that." as Kinoshita hit Tanaka, Sugawara walked back in.

Hinata: "Well my dad was taking me out to have a father son afternoon. I was super excided too, I hope we can do it soon!" I smiled in hope, but Suga seemed to be shuffling around with Melody by his side as well as my... abusive mother now with them.

Melody: "I need you all to leave please, other than Mrs Hinata and You Alpha Sugawara." I said goodbye to everyone as they all left. "Now Hinata the doctor has given you the all clear to go home tonight. However, Hinata-kun you have yet to be informed and its time to tell you." the nurse looked sad and looked down. before looking back at me. "Your father, after the impact with the telephone pole, he died on impact. I'm extremely sorry."

I couldn't move. I froze. Until it actually hit me and... I screamed. I screamed until my lungs gave out and I couldn't breathe.

The next day, I woke up and remembered not much. Only being held and scented by Suga while I screamed. I walked into the school, my mother forced me to go. eyes down, still filled with tears, and spoke to no one. I walked to the teacher's office and asked to speak to Mrs Wolski. She was my safe teacher. She taught my English class (Was from England) and was the only one I trusted.

Mrs Wolski: "Alright Hinata what do you need?"

Hinata: "May I come around with you today. I don't want to be here."

Mrs Wolski: "Explain."

Hinata: "I was in a car crash yesterday, with my father who passed."

Mrs Wolski: "And you're here be-"

Hinata: "Because my abusive mother made me." for the rest of the day. I went with Mrs Wolski to all her classes that day and just sat in the corner and sobbed silently.

The team still had no idea what happened to me, other than Sugawara.
