Year 1998
Date 2nd January
The last day was a hell of a day. I met harry. And I messed up everything. Why did I meet him. All this wouldn't have happened. I feel like crying out. But no one is there for listening to me, Understanding my situation. Mom always wanted harry out of my life soon after the day she got to know about his mother. I wish I never told mom about Harry's mother. I wish I never met harry's mother. All this wouldn't have happened. I am sorry harry. I didn't want to do this. But I was left with no other options. I had to do this. I am so sorry harry. I am so sorry.
I hear mom's footsteps coming towards my room. I hurriedly wiped away my tears. My mother knocked my room and entered.
"Rose why didn't you come out from your room for the whole day?" She asked
"Mom I was feeling sick for that my eyes got swelled up" I replied.
"Let me see honey" she added
"I am okay mom I just want to take rest" I said.
"You didn't tell me how was your day? Did you get noticed by your boss? As per plan?" She asked
"Yeah mom I did exactly the way you told me. I deliberately did mistake so that he notices me. Just the way you wanted. Now I want to take rest mom" I replied
I didn't say one more word neither did I let her I took the blanket and covered myself. I couldn't control my tears beneath the blanket. Mom left the room. The whole night I couldn't sleep thinking about Harry and the previous day.
The next I was getting ready for my office. I had my breakfast. Without telling mom I left.
At office
I was walking alone on the corridor. From the opposite side Mr. Grey was walking he was walking while looking at a file. I wondered what was there in the file. Suddenly he looked towards me and caught me looking towards him. He came to me.
"Ms Rose I am sorry for my behavior" he said making me shocked.
And left the place reading the file throughout his way.
"Is that guy an idiot"? I asked myself
He legit apologized to me.
At my desk
Era came to me " hey rose are you free tonight? " she asked
"Yeah but I have to go to home" I replied. "Come on rose come out from your lonely world. Today we are having a party" she added
"A party?" I asked
"Yeah today is Grey's birthday so its my treat to everyone." She replied
"Why would you throw a party for him?" I asked being confused
" well he is my ...." Before she could complete Mr. Neil called her. Though I knew what she was going to tell. But I wanted to hear from her.
I went to Neil and era and told them I will be there for the party.
At 8:00 pm
In a restaurant
I was sitting alone while everyone was enjoying and dancing. Though grey wasn't here. But within a few minutes he appeared.
Everybody shouted happy birthday and I was standing behind everyone so that I don't get visible. But Era pulled me towards her and asked me " Rose why are you standing here? Don't worry I know you don't have friends but you can consider me as your friend"
"That's so sweet of you" I replied.
Grey thanked everyone.
Era personally introduced me to grey which made me awkward. Grey shook hand with me. After that he went to the other side to talk with his friends.
At 9:30 pm
I was having my dinner, To my shock Era and neil shouted "Harry is here"
Seeing Harry my whole world got collapsed.
