"Stop Struggling" a voice said.

I look up to see a man with black hair and steely gray eyes. His state was scary and intense I just want to leave.

"Why were you outside the walls?" The man asked in a demanding tone.

I just stared at him in fear. 'No no no I can't talk' I thought. 'My bag I need it so I can tell him'

I began looking around the cell but my bag was nowhere to be found.

"Looking for this?" A voice said. I look over to see a tall man with blond hair and thick eyebrows. " I'm Erwin Smith and this is Levi" Erwin said.

I just stared at them not knowing what to do. "Oi what's your name" Levi asked.

I still just stared at him. That's when my eyes widened in realization. 'These are the human traffickers aren't they' I thought.

Levi narrowed his eyes at me "I asked for your name" he said in a scary tone.

I just stared at my hands. 'Is this all I'm worth... to be sold off like a toy' I thought. 'Carole... and James are gone I have no one now I can't even remember my own last name or siblings'

"Levi..." Erwin said. "I think she's mute". "So we have to give her paper so she can write it" Levi responded.

*SLAM*

My attention was immediately turned to the door. Then a lady with brown hair put into a messy ponytail walked over to the cell with a tall man with blond hair.

"So this is her? She's so young?!" The lady said while studying my face. "Hello my name is Hange Zoe I'm the section commander of the survey corps! Oh and this is Miche she said while pointing to the tall man"

'The survey corps! why does that sound familiar I know Carole and James talked about it a lot but I don't think it has anything to do with human trafficking' I thought.

"Hange we think she's mute" Erwin said. "Oh well I can help her during her trial today!" Hange said.

'Trial?' I thought. Hang noticed my confusion and explained it to me and the whole process and why this was happening . "Now here's a note pad and pen" Hange said while handing them to me.

"Great now tell us your name" Levi said with an annoyed tone. I wrote down number first name then put it up for everyone to see.

"Y/n" Hange read out loud. "Do you not have a last name?"

I wrote down explaining I don't remember my last name or siblings due to an "accident".

"Oh I'm sorry" Hange said while similing softly. "Can you tell us your age?"

"8" I wrote down. "Eight! What if the council decides to execute her?!" Hange yelled in surprise.

Levi smacked the back of her head. "You're scaring her shitty glasses" he said while glaring.

Erwin noticed my scared expression. "Don't worry we won't let them" he said in a reassuring tone.

"Oh it's time almost time for the trial! Hange said. Levi opened the cell the unchained me. I pulled away as soon as he was done unchaining me.

'I have to remember what Carole taught me' I thought while grabbing the note pad and walking out of the cell.
