It's okay to not be yourself. Sometimes we need to escape from our reality, and sometimes we need to face ourselves to battle it out like the Avengers in Civil War.

Yunho had lied to MYUNGIHO —mental note: find out the guy's name so he wouldn't refer to him as his user each time. He had definitely not gone to sleep after he ended their conversation. But, in his defense, he had attempted to rest, though his mind had very different plans that didn't include sleep in its itinerary. If it hadn't been for the guy's interesting personality and the hooking conversation, Yunho would've welcomed sleep much earlier, but alas, not everybody gets what they want. He doesn't regret anything, however, because he learned a whole lot from their long midnight exchange.
In all honesty, Yunho didn't know why conversation flowed so easily with Myun —that's the nickname he settled with to avoid saying the whole username, which was too brutesque for Yunho's liking. The memes were good; Myun definitely had his humor. The topics were nice; Yunho found they shared certain interests. The fanboying was magnificent; he enjoyed reading the other's rants regarding his existence. In a way, Yunho found it refreshing. He had direct contact with a Yunhopower, and he got insanely lucky, because this specific Yunhopower has been supporting him ever since he started his career.
He found the situation quite interesting. What were the odds of Yunho himself conversing with a Yunhopower? A veteran Yunhopower, out of everyone? He understood his initial fame wasn't huge; it was completely the opposite. Myun's words hit slightly deeper than they would if said by a recent Yunhopower, for this is someone that's seen Yunho at his lowest and accompanied him in his path to success. Sure, he had Wooyoung, Yeosang, and Jongho backing him up as well, but this is different. This is a fan, someone that doesn't know him personally. And it's exactly because of this that Myun's words left a noticeable impact in Yunho's conscience.
To his great fortune, his behavior had been caught by the people he wished to hide it from the most. He shouldn't be too surprised, since he understood fans often got worried for their idols —he's a Mingki; he knows his stuff. But still, it hurt to find out that Yunhopowers wanted to ask what was wrong but held back, despite them noticing how big the project's toll had been. Though their worry made Yunho feel a bit guilty, he still appreciated their love, and he couldn't wait to show his precious fans everything he's planned behind the scenes. He also had his friends to thank, even if they had only stayed over because of their long Mario-Kart competition and their juicy gossip session that mainly involved Wooyoung exposing his theories regarding his idol's change in behavior.
After having fallen asleep cooped up in his room and processing the fact Mingi could be his neighbor, Yunho had left the room, unsurprised to find the kitchen looking as if a bomb exploded in it. Dishes fully occupied the sink, crumbs littered the floor like a landmine, splotches of sauce spluttered the marble countertops; it took him a moment to process the state of the kitchen before chasing the younger three around his apartment, not caring for the noise complaints he'd most definitely be getting by tomorrow. In the end, his friends gave up, too terrified to face an irritated Yunho, and helped clean the mess. That is until Jongho came up with the marvelous idea of playing one round of Mario-Kart. One round. Which, of course, ended up being approximately 200 rounds. Wooyoung was determined to beat Yunho, no matter the cost.

"Can I get a refund for your friendship?"
