It's been a few months since Mingi announced his hiatus, and during that time, nothing much has happened.

Okay, maybe a few things have happened...

The day Mingi, Seonghwa and Dongsik met to discuss the details of the hiatus, San barged into the meeting room and forced himself as an important attendee.

"I'm Mingi's best friend! How can I not be here?" Had been his reasoning.

The worldwide feedback regarding Mingi's break had been extremely positive. All of his fans had been understanding of the situation, and although the company still receives mountains of fanmail daily, his fans have kept the respectful boundary between artist and supporters. Mingi didn't know what he had done in his past life to deserve such treatment.

Hongjoong and Seonghwa were still dating. How that heartless, selfish, egotistical, narcissist manager of his still had a boyfriend, he had no idea, but Hongjoong wasn't any better. That's probably why they're still going strong. Seonghwa, being the fantastic manager he is, had gone off the radar for the first few weeks of his hiatus —though he did check on him every now and then— claiming that he needed some time away from the rapper to recuperate his lost mental health. Talk about caring... he probably ignored the rapper's messages because he went on a trip with Hongjoong. That, or he just couldn't be bothered to reply. Mingi bet on the latter.

As for Hongjoong, he kept producing music as if his life depended on it. Well, it literally did. Music was what paid for everything —food, housing, medicine, more food, coffee, gifts, and much more. Not only that, but Hongjoong has also been visiting Mingi at his home ever since his hiatus started. He's been acting like a father, constantly pampering him and scolding him. Though it irks him sometimes, Mingi's more grateful than not for Hongjoong's continuous support.

San... is still San. It didn't surprise anyone when he formally asked Wooyoung out on a date —the poor dancer's whole face lit up bright red— and when he asked Wooyoung to be his boyfriend. They had a romantic get together at San's apartment, and... well... things happened. Freaky ones. Mingi's one and only wish is to go back in time to when he was blissfully unaware of what transpired in San's bedroom that night.

Jongho, on the other hand, still didn't muster the courage to confess to Yeosang. The poor boy is currently suffering, frequently visiting Mingi to drown his sorrow, for Yeosang is dating somebody else at the moment. Nobody in the group liked the boyfriend, for they all rooted for Jongho, but since Yeosang is the "I don't give a fuck about what you think" type, he ignores each and every comment made about his boyfriend. Although Mingi's greatly entertained by the situation and by Yeosang's absolute cluelessness, he still cares for Jongho, and he always lets the huge bear crash in his apartment whenever he needs. Even more so, Jongho's even accompanied Mingi on trips around the world —France, Japan, Mexico, among others. Mingi doesn't appreciate Jongho's constant nagging, though.

That only left him and Yunho.

It's been a few months since Mingi announced his hiatus.

A few months.

A few.

MONTHS.

And Mingi had yet to confess his love to Yunho.

Was he a coward? Yes. Was he the definition of a nervewreck? Hell yes. Was he avoiding confessing in fear of being rejected? Oh, fuck yes.

Even though every single person has assured him that Yunho reciprocates his feelings, Mingi is still terrified, constantly torturing himself with endless "what ifs". When he somehow convinces himself that a "what if" is completely unrealistic, another possible scenario appears in his head. He's been consciously delaying the confession because of this.
