Keebo pov

I walked to school hiding under my cap...I came to the campus and found the one person I was looking for...Shuichi Saihara, hes been my crush from the first day he transferred here and lucky me I'm his best friend.
I came up to him and hugged him from behind.

The best thing is that Shuichi is dense as a rock. He cannot spot my feeling I have for him even if is obvious like this.
At home he was never shown emotion or any kind of affection and its seen since, he tries to help but sometimes he doesn't even know what a person is doing. Well at least he tries.

I nuzzled his cheek "hello Shuichi" he smiled back at me looking up from his phone "h-hello Keebo" I smiled and rubbed his arm 'hes so innocent its cute' I put his hat down a bit and laughed, then I glared at Rantaro that tried to approach Shuichi, everybody knows I'm very protective of him since I know whats happened to him in the past.
I narrowed my look and gritted my teeth, I do have a few warnings to stay away either I glare, narrow my eyes, stare at the person or the one if they are ti close growl at them. Its not a loud growl but its enough so the person knows to approach him carefully, cause I'm around.

Rantaro went the other way, I didn't like him. I don't know why I just cant stand him, he is a transfer student as well and its said that he got kicked out of his old school...so I'm just being careful.

Shuichi looked over my shoulder "whats wrong?" He asked. I smiled and caressed his cheek "ah nothing, lets go yeah?" He nodded and I followed him as he skipped towards the class.
In class I sit beside him as well, usually we just hold hands. He doesn't mind I asked him myself.

And so yet again I grabbed his hand that was sitting on his thigh, he looked up and smiled then went back to the paper we got. I slowly locked our fingers together and I started to rub at his side of the palm.

Kaito who was sitting at the table beside Shuichi smirked and looked at me. I lowered my face and narrowed my eyes, putting on my glare. Shuichi has a smile on his face whenever he get affection and its just the cutest thing, that cannot be take away.
Kaito narrowed his eyes and placed a hand on Shuichis shoulder, he looked at him...

Shuichi pov

Kaito put a hand on my shoulder "do you need something?" I asked and stopped smiling, he interrupted me and Keebo but he always does that. I like spending time with Keebo, its comforting and he helps me a lot and I like all the affection he gives me "yeah..." Kaito leaned closer "Keebo is getting awfully close to you hm? What do you think?" I looked at him "is it wrong?" I asked back not knowing what is that suppose to mean "well how he acts its usually how a person should act when they are in a relationship" he explained "but me and Keebo are just friends" I frowned "he is just nice to me."

"RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING"

The bell cut off our conversation and I leaned back into my chair, looking down 'we are just friends...right?'....

Keebo pov

I growled at Kaito when he went towards the exit. He made Shuichi sad, he was sitting on his chair with a frown "Shuichi are you okay?" I asked and rubbed his arm "well...do you...like giving me affection?" He asked "hey where is this coming from?" I asked "of course I like it, I love to give you attention and affection" I smiled "Kaito said that...that only couples do that" 'thats my chance then' I sighed "do you wanna be one?" I asked he looked up "you would be...with me?" I nodded and I could see a smile come back to Shuichis face..."but do you mean it?" He asked.
"Shuichi Saihara...I love you and would gladly be your boyfriend if you want to" I said holding his hand "yeah...Keebo I would be gladly...with you as well" I quickly kissed him and he returned it, before
Kaede came into the classroom "Shuichi! Come here, I need you!" She yelled and stomped towards us. Shuichi shifted into my side and I glared and let out a low warning growl not to get close.

She stopped "whats with you...come on Shuichi I need to copy your homework!" She said and grabbed his arm. He tried to pull it off of him before he was dragged out.
I stood there and followed them, now I'm angry. First she interrupts our time together and then she even has a nerve to take him away.

I found them in the other classroom where our next class is, well hers me and Shushu have next hour free since we did this class. She was there holding down Shuichi when he started to write the homework for her, Shuichi looked up and saw me. He quickly got away from Kaede, he wiggled out of her grasp and hugged me, pressing himself against my chest. I put my arms around him. And I just stared at Kaede, she scoffed and went to me trying to get Shuichi back.
I put him behind me and growled "stay away from him" I gritted my teeth and I could feel Shuichi holding my shirt "I don't care...I need it so I can pass the class" she said and tried to take Shuichi again. He held me closer and I just growled but louder, then she backed away "I said...stay away" she nodded and went back to her desk.

"Wanna go out and grab some snacks?" I asked and he nodded then we walked out. I pulled him closer while we walked towards a little cafe down the street "don't worry Shuichi, I'm here to protect you okay?" I nuzzled his nose and he giggled "theres that cute smiled of yours" he only blushed and his away in my side 'yup the best day ever.'
