I opened the front door and sighed...its been a long day. I was called by some professors to go and have a meeting and I agreed. The family Is probably already asleep by that point, I looked at the clock on the wall and it read 1:11am in the morning. I smiled and went upstairs.
I passed Shiibos room and looked in, Shiibo was asleep while cuddling his stuffed orca Shamu and panda Dakini. I smiled and closed his door.

I went one door on and opened it, in there I saw my boyfriend soon to be fiancé Shuichi Saihara. He was curled up in the middle if the bed in his working clothes. I sighed and went in the room closing the door.
I went towards his side and caressed his hair "angel...sweetie" I cooed and Shu stirred slowly "hey lets get you out if these clothes kay?" He sleepily nodded and extended his arms towards me. I picked him up and kissed his head "come on you sleepy baby lets get you a hoodie yeah?" I said and he nodded. I carried him to the bathroom and sat him down on the lid, we both have pj's here so that why and he probably didn't shower yet.

I took down his clothes him being to tired and wanting to sleep "stay awake honey, I know it's hard" I cupped his cheek and with my thumb caressed his cheekbone. Undressed I put him into the tub that I filled with warm water "can I join you?" I asked and knelled down by him, he nodded and rested his head on my hand.
I quickly striped and joined him in the bath, I washed him so one: he feels better and two: he will sleep longer. I washed him and I stood from the tib first and putting on my pj's witch consist of a shirt with gears, boxers and some shorts.

I pulled Shuichi up and dried him off, like really he is to sleepy to do anything. Probably he just wants to cuddle me and went to sleep, but no bath means no bed-thats rule number...whatever.
I pulled his pj's on him to witch consist of a black MCR shirt and boxers.
I picked him up and carried him to bed, he cuddled my neck and I could feel him go limp in my arms. I slowly laid him down on the bed and covered him with our rainbow blanket and yes we have a rainbow blanket.

He snuggled into the covers and then laid there still. I joined him and pulled him closer to my chest and slowly caressing his hair and at the same time massaging his scalp. I know how hard he works to be a detective, to sleepless nights and to drinking three to four coffees a day...but I look up to him. The smile he gets when he solves a mystery, the concentration and finding clues, I know how much this makes him happy so I adore it for him. Even tho sleepless night are bot the best thing to have...
Shuichi snuggled closer tucking his head under my chin. I buried myself in his hair and hugged him closer to me in a protective way. I swore to myself to give him family he deserves-he never had a father or a mother. He Only had his uncle and he didn't give him much affection, only raised him until he bought his own apartment.

And now me and my family tries to give him the time he list as a kid. And its a perfect fit, with how childish we are I think it will work.

Then the door opened "mom, dad?" Shiibo came in the room with Dakini in his hands rubbing his eyes "whats wrong Shiib?" I whispered "can I sleep here...with you?" He asked and I lifted the blanket behind Shuichi inviting him in. He smiled and closed the door joining us in bed. I smiled and he hugged his 'mom' from behind, but didn't go to sleep "whats up kiddo?"
I asked and he looked at me "mommy had a bad day today, he...was very stressed...I dont think I should tell you tho..." I looked at Shuichi "what happened?" I asked, Shiibo looked away "my other grandpa called and said that they are moving back to America...he want mommy to go with him and he isn't taking no for a answer...mommy was crying the whole day" my eyes widen and I looked at Shuichi "thats good that you told be Shiib" I told him 'I swear to god Shu, you are not going anywhere' I hugged him closer and pulled Shiibo closer as well "dont worry both of you...I'm not letting you go anywhere and mommy will not leave us" I said and Shiibo nodded hugging Shuichi and slowly falling asleep.

I sighed and looked at Shuichi again, he was sleeping but he was holding my shirt a little bit too tight. I loosened his hand and held it in mine I kissed it and then his forehead. I then closed my eyes and tucked us all in.

I swear nobody will take my family apart, I'm protecting it with my whole life.
