Chapter 1: Strawberry Shortcake

3rd Person POV

You sighed as you it was late and you saw that the rain was pouring. You waited patiently for 10pm to come, so that you could close up the coffee shop.

You thought to yourself "It's empty anyways do I have to wait for 10pm?"

Just as you were going to the back, the bell by the door rang, telling you that there was a customer.

It was a man, he walked up to the counter and when y/n looked up at him

She were mesmerized

He was tall

Handsome

With glasses that suites him

With fluffy blonde hair

You thought he was cute.

Could it be that you just had a love at first sight moment?

"I'll get a latte please." he handed the payment

"I'll deliver your order to your table."

You made his latte

Then an idea hit you.

You were never the type to do this but you quickly took the last piece of strawberry shortcake than you were suppose to save yourself.

You took some paper napkins and wrote your number on it.

Your heart was beating louder and louder as you nervously approached the man's table.

You gently placed the plate of strawberry shortcake on his table.

"Uhm, I only ordered a latte" he raised his brow.

"It's ok, it's on the house." y/n smiled

"Thanks."

You came back to the counter and watched him enjoy his dessert.

You thought to yourself  "I could watch him for hours."

You took out your phone and a couple of minutes passes by, he stood up and walked to the counter and tipped you largely. It was even a bigger amount than the actual cost of the cake. Then before you could say anything you saw him left with his umbrella.

Then you realized you left your own umbrella.

"Ugh not again!" you sighed and gave yourself a small face palm.

You looked at your phone, it was already 10pm and it was already closing time.

You went to the front and changed the sign to closed.

Next, you started cleaning the coffee machine.

Then you thoroughly wiped the tables until they are clean.

After cleaning up, you went to the back  to change from your coffee shop uniform to your normal clothes.

Then before leaving you closed all the lights and locked up the coffee shop.

After closing the coffee shop and took a newspaper, hoping that will help you get through with the rain.

As you were running through streets you see a familiar figure walking out the convenience store.

The person was walking but it stopped from its tracks when it saw you.

You were hoping it was someone you knew but as you were getting closer, you realized it was him again.

He looked at you and quietly put an umbrella under your head.

You muttered a small thank you.

"You might catch a cold, you know?" he said to you bluntly

you smiled

Then your eyes both met

And somehow your eyes just locked into the other's.
