Chapter 6: Something from the Past

Y/n's POV

I was slowly walking to the usual place, where Mitsuo and I used eat for out dates. It was a painful place to visit and remember because it was also the place I caught him cheating and having a date with someone else.

It still hurts that's why I haven't returned to this place in 2 years.

Last month, I learned that he was getting married to that girl.

I'm here to find out, what he wants from me.

I took a deep breathe before entering the Restaurant.

I see him there sitting at the same place where we used to sit.

All these memories started rushing through my head like a bad migraine.

I sat down the seat in front of him.

"Hey" Mitsuo smiled at you

I did miss that smile, but remember seeing that exact smile when he was with that other girl.

"Y/n, I missed you."

"I want to order." I tried to ignore his sweet but evil words.

"C'mon y/n, listen to me."

"I said I want to order Mitsuo, excuse me waiter!"

Then waiter came.

"Yes M'am, What is your order?"

"I will take this pasta please and a glass of water." I pointed to the pasta you wanted on the menu

"How about you, sir?'"

"I will take the same."

We handed back the menu to the kind waiter.

"So what do you want from me Mitsuo?"

"Just you. I want you back y/n."

"Aren't you with someone else? I heard you were getting married."

"Are you here so you could try to cheat on her with me?"

"No, I left her at the altar."

"Because I realized, that I still love you." he continued

"How can I forgive someone who promised not hurt me then do these things behind my back. You had your chance with me Mitsuo." I snapped.

"That's why I'm sorry y/n! That's why I came here to apologize."

"Well a sorry doesn't change what you did, does it?" I crossed my arms

He stayed silent,

"I thought so."

I could feel everyone's was already staring at us.

After everything was painfully silent, the food finally came.

We both ate in silence.

"Here's the payment for my meal."

"Y/n, please think about it."

I left without saying another word.

"I'm sorry, Mitsuo but no ❤️"

At the coffee shop

Today is my day off but I'm walking to the coffee shop to meet some friends.

I thought I was pretty early because I left Mitsuo very early.

But Tsukishima was already there.

I walked to the table and sat down the seat in front of him.

"Hey Tsukki" I smiled at him

"Hey Y/n." Tsukishima smiled back

He silently sipped from his coffee.

"So how was your lunch with that jerk?"

"It was so awkward but I rejected him."

he chuckled

"He deserved it."

"I mean, if I were him I wouldn't do that to you-"

"What?"

"Nothing." He said as he took a sip from his coffee

I  actually heard everything that you said.

I'm glad to hear that you would never do such a thing me, I just hope what you said was true.

If only we were dating.
