49: alone.

jimin went out of his apartment with taehyung behind him. he made sure that the door is locked then frowns as jungkook is nowhere to be seen.

usually, jungkook is outside his apartment and is waiting for him but this time, the vampire isn't present.

he decided to check on the older by going to his apartment and knocks on the door. "kookie?"

taehyung follows the smaller and crossed his arms. "he might be already at school."

"no. kookie won't leave without me." jimin pouts and knocks on the wooden door again.

the demon lets out a sigh. "why don't you call him?"

jimin immediately gets his phone and dials jungkook's number. he waited for few rings before jungkook picks up the call.

"kookie! im outside your apartme-"

[i'm at school already, sorry.] jungkook cutted him off.

the human frowns and looks down, the happy feeling inside him slowly fading away. "really..?"

[yeah, sorry. uhm gotta go now. bye.] jungkook didn't even let jimin reply as he already ended the call.

jimin slips his phone on his pocket and sighed deeply.

"maybe kookie is just having a bad day." he mumbles to himself.

taehyung stared at his boyfriend and can't help but to feel sad too by seeing the boy's pout. sure, it looks adorable but he wants to see jimin's smile more than his pout.

"i will send you there." he said, taking jimin's hand on his own.

"you're not gonna be with me all the time?"

taehyung looks at jimin and smiles. "i will visit you during lunch. i promise that."

jimin only nodded and both of them are walking towards the school with hands clasped together, enjoying each other's warmth.

"uhm tae?" jimin called out.

taehyung only hummed as an answer.

"c-can i.. uhm." jimin looks down and bites his bottom lip.

come on, jimin. it's just a nickname.

"yeah?" taehyung looks down at him.

his boyfriend is really small, more like tiny. jimin's head can reach only taehyung's chest and since he's a demon, he's really tall.

the younger lets out a deep sigh. "c-can i call you taetae..? ah forget about it." jimin covers his face with both his hands as he feels embarrassed.

taehyung lets out a chuckle. "you can call me whatever you want to call me. i don't mind.

jimin looks at him. "r-really?"

"mhm."

the younger can't help but to smile and shyly holds taehyung's hand. "okay then, taetae."

after few moments of silence, jimin decided to speak again. "do you have a girlfriend or boyfriend before?"

taehyung furrowed his brows then shook his head. "you're the first one, actually. they were just some hookups then after i used them, i will immediately kill them." he answers.

jimin gasped. "a-are you gonna kill me too if you got bored of me?"

"what? of course not. you always makes me happy and i love you, okay?" taehyung ruffles jimin's soft hair.

the human blushed and nodded. "okay. i trust you so don't break it! cause if you did, i will be very sad and heartbroken forever. please don't hurt me someday, taetae. my heart won't be able to handle it."

"ah, park jimin." taehyung shakes his head and carries jimin. "i will never ever hurt you and break your heart because i truly love you."

"oh kookie is still not here." jimin mumbles and walks towards the bench of the school yard then sat down.

he's already hungry but he wants to eat with his best friend do he have to wait first.

jimin looks down on the pack of two sandwiches and lets out a giggle. he can't help to give one to jungkook.

to avoid boredom, he looks around the place and smiles softly as he enjoys the wind.

three minutes have passed and there's still no sign of jungkook.

jimin sighs softly and decided to just eat alone and give the sandwich to jungkook later.

he didn't noticed the silhouette behind a huge tree, watching his moves and is getting ready to attack him.

of course, it was mill who have a grin on his face.

slowly, he started walking towards the human but halted on his steps as taehyung suddenly appeared beside the boy.

he hurriedly went back behind the tree and clenched his fists.

"where's jungkook?" taehyung asked.

jimin smiles a little. "you called him by his name and i don't know. maybe he have many works to do."

taehyung stared at jimin's face. "you're crying."

"w-what? no i'm not." jimin giggles and finished his sandwich.

"yes you are. what's wrong?" the demon pulls the boy on his lap.

the younger looks down. "i just.. miss kookie. i don't know what's happening to him. i just want us to be together again."

"try to talk to him later. i'm sure everything will be alright." taehyung rubs jimin's back to soothe him.

jimin nodded and wipes his tears away. "o-okay. i will talk to him. b-but can you hug me..?" the younger shyly asked.

satan chuckles before pulling his boy in a warm embrace.
