Chapter 3

**THE NEXT MORNING**

Lin's POV: I ended up cuddling with Y/N last night and she found it comforting. Even though I just met Y/N, I started getting feelings for her. But since her ex went to jail, I'm not gonna push it too much. I got up and my phone rang. It was a random number. I walked into another room not to wake up Y/N.

"Hello?" Lin said into the phone.

"Hi Lin, It's Rob Marshall." Rob replied.

"Oh hello Rob! What's up?" Lin asked.

"Are you busy by any chance? I was wanting to see if you were available for lunch." Rob replied.

"Uhhhhh- I am free today but I have someone over at my house." Lin said.

"Oh ok! That someone, can come with you. If they like?" Rob replied.

"I don't know. Let me know how she feels." Lin said.

Lin walked out of the room and put himself on mute to ask Y/N if he can take her to lunch with him and Rob.

"Hey Y/N?" Lin whispered.

Y/N opened her eyes.

"Gmorning Lin-" Y/N replied.

"Hey, would you like to meet Rob Marshall? I am on the phone with him and he said I could bring you for lunch." Lin said.

"Of course! As long as you are around Lin. I'm safe!" Y/N replied in excitement.

"Ok great!" Lin said with a smile on his face.

"Ok she said she is comfortable to come with me!" Lin said into the phone again.

"Great! See you around 12:30." Rob replied.

Lin hung up and looked at Y/N with a huge smile on his face.

"You seem happy!" Y/N said looking into Lin's gaze.

"I am-" Lin replied blushing a little bit.

"I could really use a shower but I don't have any new clothes." Y/N said looking down. 

"We could drive to your house and grab and grab some clothes for you." Lin replied.

"That would be nice." Y/N said getting up.

**TIME SKIP**

Lin drove Y/N to her apartment.

"I should really come with you Y/N. This is not a very good place." Lin said.

"Please do Lin!" Y/N replied.

Lin got out of the car and walked Y/N to the door.

"It's ok Lin. You can come in!" Y/N said giggling slightly.

Lin stepped inside Y/N's house and waited for Y/N to pack her bags.

**ANOTHER TIME SKIP**

Lin and Y/N got ready and head to lunch.

**AT THE RESTAURANT**

Rob Marshall was sitting at a table waiting for Lin and Y/N. Rob waved at them as a signal. Lin and Y/N walked to the table and sat down.

"Hello Lin!" Rob said.

"Hi Rob. This is Y/N!" Lin replied.

"Hello Y/N! It's nice to meet you. Are you good with secrets?" Rob asked.

"I am. Also nice to meet you!" Y/N replied with a smile.

"Nice! Ok so I needed to talk about Lin about a movie I am doing." Rob said.

A huge smile wiped across Lin and Y/N's face.

"I am doing a sequel to Mary Poppins and I would like you, Lin. To play as Jack." Rob whispered.

Y/N's mouth opened in shock.

"Who is going to play Mary Poppins?" Lin whispered back.

"Emily Blunt." Rob whispered.

Lin looked at Y/N and Y/N was internally freaking out. Lin could tell by her face expression.

"That's really good." Lin whispered back.

"Yea it is!" Rob said.

They continued to eat lunch and said goodbye. Lin and Y/N walked to the car.

"OH MY GOD-" Y/N yelled.

"Don't shout Y/N! I know you are excited." Lin replied.

Y/N giggled a little bit.

"I guess we start filming next month. We are shooting the film in London so I'll have to move there for a year." Lin explained.

Y/N's heart sank.

"You could come with me." Lin added.

"YES!" Y/N shouted in excitement.

"Ok ok!" Lin said laughing.

Once Y/N and Lin got home Y/N hugged Lin.

"I-" Y/N hesitated.

"Hmm?" Lin said confused.

"I love you." Y/N said with a smile on her face.

"I-I love you too-" Lin replied.
