Chapter 13

When the screening started Rob Marshall and the producers went on stage.

"How is everyone going?" Rob asked the audience.

The audience cheered in response.

"Now before we start this masterpiece of a movie! I'd like to welcome the cast of this amazing movie!" Rob said.

The audience clapped.

"First I want Emily Blunt who played the fabulous Mary Poppins to come up here." Rob said.

The audience clapped as Emily Blunt made her way to the stage.

"Now we can't forget her amazing co-star of this film, Lin Manuel Miranda!" Rob said.

The audience went crazy as Lin walked onto the stage. Lin did his little car honk hand gesture. Y/N smiled at Lin. Rob called up the rest of the cast. The cast bowed and made their way back to their seats. Emily and Lin hugged each other before they got off stage. Y/N and John had huge smiles on their faces and hugged Lin and Emily as a good job. Then the movie started.

**AFTER THE MOVIE**

Everyone clapped, people were crying, people were grinning. It was a emotional moment!

"You did such a good job Lin!" Y/N said.

"Thank you!" Lin replied.

Lin, John, Emily, and Y/N all headed to the dining hall. Everyone sat at the same table. There was music and so many people. Lin disappeared.

"Hey where is Lin?" Y/N whispered to Emily.

"I don't know!" Emily replied.

"Hello! Hello! Hello!" Lin said into the microphone on the stage.

"Welp! That's your answer right there!" Emily said.

Y/N laughed and turned her head facing Lins direction.

"Um. I just want to thank you all for coming to the VIP dinner first of all! I also want to say, if you don't follow me on Twitter. I am in a relationship." Lin said.

The crowd awed in response.

"This girl made me realize how many people out there actually love me and are inspired by me! I would love to thank her for that. Truly." Lin added.

The crowd clapped.

"Now she is here now! Y/N do you want to come up here?" Lin asked.

Emily smiled at Y/N. Y/N nodded in response and walked onto the stage. Lin, as a true gentleman would, kissed Y/N's hand. The crowd cheered.

"Y/N dreamt of being on Broadway one day. Maybe even start a singing career! Let me just say, We were a perfect match in this case!" Lin said.

The crowd and Y/N laughed.

"So?" Lin said looking at Y/N.

Y/N gleamed into Lins eyes and knew his idea. Y/N took a deep breath and nodded.

"Hey everyone! I know I'm not apart of this movie but I was glad to be there to support the cast! I'm sure Lin wants me to sing something-" Y/N said looking back at Lin.

Lin slightly smiled at her. Y/N smiled back. Y/N turned back to the audience.

"Can I sing 'High Enough' by K.Flay please?" Y/N said.

The audience cheered. Then Y/N begun to sing. Lin smiled then went back to his seat. Emily was so happy.

**TIME SKIP**

Y/N was done singing and the crowd cheered. They all even stood up and clapped. Y/N had a huge smile on her face. She did a little bow and went back to her seat.

"YOU DID AMAZING!!" Emily said.

"Thanks Em!" Y/N replied.

Y/N turned to Lin.

"Hey you did so great!" Lin said.

"And honestly I know it's been only a year but..." Lin said.

Lin got on one knee. The crowd went crazy. Y/N had tears in her eyes. Lin pulled a ring out. At this point Emily was a full on fangirl.

"But I honestly want to live the rest of my life with you and yes this is a proposal. I know we've been dating for a year but-" Lin continued.

"It's fine Lin! Yes! Yes! I want to marry you." Y/N replied cutting Lin off.

Lin got up and put the ring on Y/N's finger and they kissed each other. The crowd cheered. The rest of the night was all congratulations!

**TIME SKIP TO THE END OF THE NIGHT**

"Congrats you two!" Emily said.

"Thank you Emily! I'm going to miss you so much!" Y/N replied.

"Oh don't be silly! Lin will have interviews with me next week! We even have a press conference next week so you'll see me!" Emily explained.

"Also you better invite me to your wedding! I literally watched over your guys relationship!" Emily added.

Y/N and Lin laughed.

"Well it was great night you guys!" Lin said.

They all said goodbye. Lin and Y/N got in the car and sat there for a moment. Y/N sighed.

"What a night-" Y/N said in a very happy tone.

"Yeah I know right!" Lin replied.

"I love you Lin." Y/N giggled.

"I love you too." Lin replied.

They drove home and cuddled for the rest of the night.

A/N: WOAH SO CONGRATS TO Y/N- SHE ENGAGED TO THE ONE AND ONLY LMM- also I loved writing Emily as the supportive person of this story! I am not ending this book. That would honestly be sad! SO IM GONNA CONTINUE IT- I'm probably going to take a few weeks off from writing cause I want you all to catch up on this first part of this story. It's like a ending scene of Act 1! But now it's Intermission time for this story and leave it as a cliffhanger for little bit. I'll be back tho! Thank you!
