When I woke up this morning, I immediately recognized Drew's arm laced around my waist.
I turned over to notice him still sleeping. I had never noticed how beautiful the boy was. His blonde hair was just the right length, that it covered his eyes, but not too much to the point where it was inconvenient.
His face was already sun-kissed from the large window he was facing. I wasn't extremely close with Drew, though I wouldn't have a problem learning new things about him.
I knew Drew and Maddie were close, but I never really took into consideration his appearance or even just his personality in general.
Maybe I was too caught up in the crazy life change that happened with outer banks to notice him. I felt bad for it.
He starts to shuffle around a bit, and eventually his icy blue eyes meet with my dark ones.
"Good morning." I smile.
"Good morning." He replies, his voice waking up.
He smiles at me and turns over to grab his phone. I would've done the same earlier, if I wasn't too busy looking at his face.
A knock hits the door, which startles me a bit. If Maddie found me in bed with Drew, she would never let me hear the end of it.
Drew walks over to the door.
"I can't find Val-" Madelyn begins to talk, but Drew moves over to the right so she can see me."-Oh. Looks like I'm interrupting something." She laughs.
She walks away and Drew closes the door. He laughs while I groan, "She's never gonna let that go."
"Nope." He laughs. "Get dressed."
"Wow. So demanding." I joke
